I have had this single flame lighter for about a year. Use it at least once or twice a week. I prefer the precision of the single flame in lighting a cigar (primary use for me, although use it on occasion to shrink wrap wires). Reliable. Only complaint, and this is minor, the reservoir is not enormous and requires a fill perhaps after every three or so uses (lighting cigar).

It's very lightweight. I like the metal case. There's probably still some plastic in it but it's tougher than my torch blue that I just switched from. I haven't used a whole tank of fuel yet, but it's much smaller than I'm used to. However with the adjustable Flame, should be able to make it last at least a week if not two.

The 2 things I don't like about this torch are:It has an extremely small butane tank and it doesn't have a lock. There are other things that I don't care much for, but those are the 2 main things.Things I like, it's quieter than most torches and the size is nice.I will also say that it's actually really hard to see how much butane is in it. It should have windows on both sides of the tank. So light can shine through and that way u can see how much butane it has.

This is a great grill lighter. I prefer it better than the standard long neck lighter since it's easily refillable and the due to the pressure, the flame can be directed downward for lighting.Seems to last quite a while on a fill and lights on the first or second click every time.Sometimes the flame goes out after a few seconds of continuous use, but that may be a 'feature' to keep it from getting too hot. Thankfully it rarely takes more than that to light most anything.Good buy.

While I had high hopes for this lighter, it was a disappointment. It has lasted about 4 uses. This is not my first experience with butane lighters. I properly discharged it prior to the first use and filled with Xikar premium fuel. After only the second use the lighter continued to discharge butane after extinguishing the flame. On the third use the lighter refused to stay lit for more than a few seconds. No matter the setting it would continue to go out on itself. The leaking after releasing the button and continued to discharge butane for several seconds with no flame.Over all qauality is so so. The jet is visibly misaligned in the end and the igniter looks like it has excessive glue all over it, The igniter does spark so I am not complaining there for a $12 lighter but the fact that it will not stay lit is disappointing. A long lighter with a ceramic tip, too keep cool it defeats the purpose for only a short flame life.
