The controller was made to be difficult to tinker with but the how to video helped immensely. I do wish there are abxy letters on the buttons but regardless, looks cleaaan.

With proper tools and time , this is a must to any gamer that is interested in upgrading the looks of your controller. The paint is very nice and feels great within your finger tips . If not properly taken care of , it can scratch but hasn’t happen to me . Fits perfectly within the elite 2 button placement and valued at a reasonable price.

Holes for the buttons are a bit tight. Some of the buttons are sticky now

The scarlet red matched perfectly to what is shown. The only downfall of this, naturally, is having to open the entire controller. I took a risk of doing this with a brand new elite (had warranty;) and was well worth it. They have youtube videos showing precisely how to take the controller apart. The hardest part is un-screwing the sticks due to Microsoft now using an adhesive (recommended using a blow dryer off and on for about 5 seconds max heat). There is a common issue with the lb/rb buttons getting stuck but they also have a YouTube video/fix for this issue and mine work perfectly. Worth buying if you can follow instructions!

The Bumpers were all I was interested in. The original LB on my controller broke, this seems to happen every 2 months on the xbox controllers even with proper use and storage (i play at my desk and leave it charging in the case connected to my xbox when done). I got the old ones out and the new ones in. I noticed the middle housing piece had a chip on it. While the faceplate was off, the LB/RB worked ok. When I would snap the faceplate back on, the LB/RB would not de-press. They would get stuck, I assume the part was not printed/cut properly. I returned and went with a different manufacturer for the LB/RB and it worked as expected. Sad that this cool color couldn't work out

EDIT: The seller reached out and offered me a refund for my trouble, which I accepted. I appreciate the gesture, it's nice to see they stand behind their products. I reiterated that they should update the installation video so others don't damage their controller like I did. Hopefully they do that. ----------- Excellent quality and looks great. Couple of problems: 1. The installation video appears to have been made for an older version of the Elite Series 2 controller. In the comments there are a bunch of people complaining that the stock bumpers won't come off easily like they do in the video; if you're not careful you'll snap off some delicate plastic parts of your controller! (I did) 2. Also, the new bumpers don't fit without modification. The seller posted in the YouTube comments a link to a *separate* video showing how you have to modify the bumpers to get them to fit so they don't stick (you have to scrape off some of the paint). The seller needs to make an updated version of the whole installation video to avoid these problems. But unfortunately I had to find out the hard way, and then dig through the video comments to find the solution, installation was way more difficult as a result. The whole process took more than an hour.

Purchased these to black out my buttons. Easy to install, the color looks great, and they look durable. So far, worth the purchase.

The bumpers and triggers are the highlight. Amazingly beautiful color. Face buttons also, but I wish they had the original printings, but this is perfect when the goal is a minimalist looking mod build. Recommended on the color alone. It's so beautiful!

I have installed all buttons, and they all work fine, except the bumpers. The left side does not click anymore and I cant press it. I have reverted back to the original bumpers and now they work again. Due to the face buttons being more difficult to remove, I have decided not to return it, but be wary of that before you buy.

J'ai l'habitude d'acheter mes produits de customisation chez eXtremeRate et c'est vraiment la première fois où je suis un peu déçu. Non pas sur la qualité des matériaux mais sur la conception. Je m’explique, j'ai du raboter les barres d'appuis sur les boutons LB et RB car elles étaient trop longues et une fois montées, elles actionnaient les touches en continu ce qui rendait la manette inutilisable. Étonnant venant de cette marque.

Super Qualität, gerne wieder und endlich ein Unikat (auch wenn ich es eigentlich erst nach der Garantie machen wollte, habe ich es jetzt vorgezogen da meine original LT Taste leider nach einem leichten Sturz kaputt war) naja dafür gab es dann jetzt wenigstens ansprechenden ersatzt

I'll start off by saying these aftermarket replacement buttons look beautiful. The Scarlett red is absolutely gorgeous and has a nice deep red with a hint of an anodized look! As far as installation goes. For the most part it's pretty straight forward. The only hard part for me was the bumpers as the USB-C port hole wasn't big enough and literally scrapped away the paint as I pushed it into place. As far as functionality goes my sync button will no longer press at all now and is stuck in place, I'm guessing because the space tolerance is too tight. My LB button also feels very stiff now and barely clicks when I press it. The A X Y B buttons all work, however they fit somewhat loosely now and rattle around quite a bit, especially the X button. Triggers and middle buttons are all great and feel and work just fine! (Included a video for this) I'm going to try them out for a couple weeks and update the review at a later day to see if anything loosens up. As it stands right now, I'd only give a 3 stars for the value of what you're getting. I could've got a bad batch, but for the price I don't think I'll be trying my luck again any time soon! **Update** ExtremeRate reached out to me over email to address the issue personally and they ended up sending me a replacement set of buttons and the buttons fit much better. Minimal rattle and feel much more crisp! Definitely bumping this up to 5 stars for customer service and the effort made to make sure I got a quality fitment for my controller. I do highly recommend giving these replacement buttons a try because once they're good, they're amazing! **Update 2** I purchased another set of the replacement buttons. This time in the chrome gold set. And they are great. No fitment issues. They feel and look good and everything functions perfect! Happy I pulled the trigger on another set. Again highly recommend!
