Goes where no other tool has gone before.
These specialty bits get the job done! It's very difficult to find this type of bit. I was expecting the wire brushes to fly off, but they stay very secure. Unlike others have mentioned, I don't find the brush wear to be excessive. Since these are an extended shaft product, you just need to be smart about how you use them. Use a lower RPM, and avoid excessive sideways force. These did a great job of cleaning off rust in spots that I couldn't otherwise reach.

Just what I have needed
For years I struggled to get the carbon off of the inside of the BCG. Regular Dremel bits were too short. Drill bits were too large. I had to resort to wraping steel wool around a rod and soaking it with Hoppes. It took way too long to get it clean. These bits are perfect. Use on low speed, not high as they will tear themselves apart at max speed. Gently inserted until they hit bottom and in seconds the carbon is gone w/o damage to the chrome lining.

Do the job but don’t last
One use tool. Do the job in hard spaces but don expect much service

Great for the $
I bought these to clean up the fuel injector bores on an intake manifold, absolutely perfect! They fit in a Dremel collet & are a lot more sturdy than I thought they would be. Perfect for this application, also for cleaning up the manifold as well.

Extra Reach vs Extra Risk
Decent dremel reach _after_ shortening shank by 25-30mm. At full length, you'd better use a drill on slow speed. In a dremel, even at lowest speed, it'll bend and slam into your face shield--which you're wearing, right? After learning the hard way, cut the shank above the bend, and the brush is suddenly useful. Even then, the reach is much better than any in-store brush. The bristles are much finer and shorter-lived than a big wire wheel, so you'll go through a few of them even for a small patch. At least you can reach it now.
