Very Useful for First Time Moms
This book has been so helpful for me as a first time mom. Since our first day in the hospital I was able to record each feeding and if she pee'd or pooped. My baby had jaundice in the hospital so keeping up with this information was important and helpful to our nurses. Our first doctors appt I was able to answer all of his questions by looking at my book. It's a good way to track your babys progress and to help a breast feeding momma stay on schedule. It's also neat to look back on. I have recorded her first bath, first tummy time, and other cute notes in the book. It will be good to look back on to see what life was like with my newborn.

Great for nanny communication and documentation
I use this every day as a professional nanny for parents that don’t want to use an app. It’s easy to document feedings, sleep, diapers, and make note of anything happening during my hours. I think parents appreciate being able to see their child’s day with a quick glance at this book.

The *most* used item we bought! Getting a second one.
This book is super sturdy, which has come in handy. The heavy weight paper doesn’t tear easily. Ours came with 96 pages, which is enough to get through the full “fourth trimester”. I wasn’t sure we’d use it much, but it’s almost full!! I’m actually about to buy a second one because it makes it super easy to keep track of what has happened diaper and feed wise, and has made communication between my husband and I so much easier for our “shifts”. Echoing other reviews, my only wish is there was more space for awake time notes, otherwise it’s perfect.

Great asset for new parents
My sister in law uses something similar to this product for her son, and she loves it, purely because it allows her to jump into the mindset of 'when did he last eat? How much? When was his diaper last changed?', so she talked me into getting one, too! I will say that I love how you can customize the outside with a picture of your LO, though, fair warning, those clear plastic tabs on the inside that say 'tear out before use' are NOT TEARABLE, and WILL yank the plastic rings out of place. Please cut them out. I should've known that would happen, since the plastic is sturdy material, and the plastic rings aren't however, they're easy to bend back into place and doesn't affect the overall use of the product itself. Great that this comes with an emergency contact sheet and stickers to put in the margins, like 'tummy time' and 'umbilical cord fell off'. Those made me laugh. The overall quality of the books themselves isn't bad, though the rings could be made from more sturdy stuff.

The best resource for new parents
I got this on accident because I thought it was a baby book. I received it as a gift from my baby registry, and then I purchased my own after the first book ran out of pages. It’s an invaluable resource. Much easier to use than an app or the pocket nanny; easy to transfer from mom to dad to grandparent to other caregiver; easy to bring to the doctor to reference with the pediatrician; easy to reference in a sleep-induced haze. It’s worth it’s weight in gold. Our baby will be six months by the time we need a third book, and I’m certain we’ll get a third copy. I recommend cutting out the plastic insert; if you try to pull it out, you’ll bend the rings that bind the book together.

Helped so much!
I am a first time mom and have raging anxiety about the “what ifs” and worrying about if I’m doing enough for her when she needs it. This book has been a LIFESAVER. Its helped me figure out her cries better, and to know “okay that sounds like a hungry cry because she ate _____ hours ago” It’s also great to have for my husband to see her daily logs because he works M-F long hours. A super plus cause this would be a great option for babysitters, baby shower gift etc. I just wish that had a hardcover or more pages! 10 out of 10!

Perfect for keeping track
I used this for the first month to keep track of my baby’s diaper changes and feedings. Made it so easy to remember how long time has passed, especially being sleep deprived I couldn’t remember which side I nursed on last and it helped with that

The Perfect Newborn Log
I love this log book! I ordered it before my daughter was born and started using it on our first day in the hospital. The format is easy to use and I can make note of feedings, diapers, sleep etc. very quickly. It comes in handy after dad or grandma have been with the baby and I want to know what I missed! We also had to track the amount of each feeding for our pediatrician so I just brought the book along to talk through the details. The card in the back with space to add emergency contacts, pediatrician info and other phone numbers is helpful to have with the baby at all times.

This book was great, helped me keep track of the things I needed to at the times I needed to. I didn’t always use all the columns, but it was good they were there because when he was newborn I tracked his feedings, around 4 months I tracked his sleep when we started sleep training and at 6 months I tracked his solid foods! Very useful :)

This was an absolute life saver during the newborn trenches. There was no time to learn logging apps, etc, so just writing everything down in an organised manner was great! The logging system was really really functional. We left some random notes for our kiddo in there as we logged too, which made it fun. I liked the detachable shopping list/notes bit at the bottom of each page, as we did have to have a lot of notes and shopping lists in the first few weeks. Really handy and practical.

Love this baby log book as it comes with baby stickers and a guide sheet on examples what to mark in the columns. Downside is that each day starts at 6am, but as a new mom feedings were every 2hrs for newborns. My baby is 7months and his feedings are 2 to 3 hrs. Just saying if each day started at midnight down it would be THE BEST baby log book.
