I'll cut to the chase and simply say that if you are in the market for a doorbell motion detector camera (which you must be since you are reading this review in the first place) then BUY THIS CAMERA. It not only works well as advertised, but the price is far better than most as well as not requiring the added expense of a service contract. Now, for the review. Having spent the time evaluating most of the options out there (which there is an overwhelming number available on Amazon) I narrowed my selection to this one by SSYING. And, assessing anyone's review of a product, it helps knowing the reviewer's expectations to make sense of the review. In my case, I had recently had my home broken into. It happened just a few minutes after leaving my home. I otherwise did not have any other type of security system installed, let alone a doorbell camera. Fortunately, a neighbor happened to walk past my home, just 30 minutes after I had left, to see the front door wide open and called me to let me know. That experience is what led to my purchasing a doorbell camera. Having previously had experience using services like ADT, I still was not interested in going back to a full-fledged security system, complete with annual service contracts. What I DID want was a means to know if something was happening at my home while I am away and not rely on the good fortune of having a neighbor to catch something for me instead. I am of the mindset that if someone WANTS to break into a home, they'll do so, security alarms and surveillance systems be damned. And for that reason, I don’t feel there is sufficient benefit from the annual expense of security system contracts. However, there is benefit to at least being able to know if and when someone is breaking in, which would allow me to act when it is occurring, rather than dealing with that event much later. And that is where the value to this doorbell camera really comes into play. The price is at the low end, and yet the quality is right up there with more expensive units. The image as displayed on the phone app from the camera is HD, and does cover a wide angle to sweep the full entry. Images at night show up great. The motion detection can be adjusted easily to better control the camera's activation. I have it currently set to the lowest setting and it activates seconds after someone approaches the door. Satisfactory for my purposes, though if a person wants to have every bird flying by or car passing on the street set off the motion detection, switching to high will satisfy that need depending how you have it placed. The phone app is extremely easy to set up, which is saying something if you have otherwise gone through the hassle with some other products that interface with a phone app. The app itself is easy to figure out. I like that you can easily talk to someone at the door through the app AND can easily hear that person as well. Push notifications come through quickly on the phone. Installation of the camera itself was also very easy. In short, if you simply want the ability to effectively monitor what is happening at your door remotely, with an easy to use phone app, at minimal expense, then you will be very satisfied with this doorbell camera. HINT: For those of you who want to enhance the security aspect for installing this doorbell camera, consider installing a door alarm as well (one that merely sets off an alarm when the door opens and nothing else). Where the camera allows you to see what is going on at the door, a separate alarm that also sends push notifications to your phone will let you know if someone actually breaks in (helpful should someone cover the camera and you can’t see what's happening). Again, in my opinion, if someone wants to break in, they will. What ya want to do is at the least know what's going on WHEN it's going on.

I bought this product after I had saw a random person snooping in my yard. This recording doorbell is super clear and gives me a sense of safeness. It notifies me when there’s motion detected and when some one rings the door bell. It took me less than 10 mins to setup. I charged it fully and I believe it is still above 90% and Iv had it up for probably about 3 weeks. I love it so much that I will be eventually buying one for my back door! I only have two complaints and they aren’t even really complaints. The camera does exactly what I needed it to do. But the motion detection doesn’t notify you until a few seconds after the motion has happened and I’m unsure if all night vision cameras are the same but you have to have a light source for it to work so we now leave our front porch light on at night but it’s not an issue! Overall this camera doorbell is 100% worth the money. I’m really happy with my purchase.

I bought this as a gift for my S.O. November 2022, he was able to hardwire it himself with no issues. Initially the camera worked really well excellent day/night quality. Motion sensor triggered exactly as he set it. I specifically bought this camera over the big name brands on the market because in the product description it states its free to use for recording, downloads, etc. He didn't want to have a subscription for a doorbell camera. Now flash forwar to current time and the doorbell no longer delivers notifications or they are severely delayed. From the last 6 days only 2 of them have recordings - he lives on a busy street so this is inaccurate. To top it off now any video he attempts to access same day he gets the pay wall popup directing him to pay for a subscription. Had I known this would be a bait & switch I wouldn't have bought it. I we would be willing to pay more for a camera with no subscription than have to deal with yet another subscription in a time where literally every company is forcing consumers into subscriptions.

I bought it after reading many 4-5 stars ratings by previous buyers. The whole initial setup procedure was really easy and simple from Aiwit app on my phone . The ring sound is audible , but talking sound to the doorbell mic should have been a little louder . Motion sensitivity is working fine per setting. Three of 18650 batteries may help extend its life for few months without charging . In short , this HD Wifi Doorbell Cam is the best buy to me considering its lowest price with other features like its rigid design, long battery life and clear & sharp pics.

This is definitely worth the money. Here are some features: #1. It works with WiFi as I do not have a hired wire doorbell so now I have a doorbell (I bought a $12 internal plug-in that syncs with camera so I can hear the doorbell inside the house). #2. It is battery operated (3 large batteries) and this is a charged device. You will have to remove device and plug in to charger. I have used for 3 weeks before I had to recharge (Recommend fully charging before installing and to set the sensitivity to motion to low). I had to minimize the motion alerts which drains the battery. #3. It gives you easy installation instructions and I only needed a screwdriver (holes were already there) or they have adhesives to use if you cant screw it in. The device easily comes out of the case and has a little screw that goes into the bottom to secure the camera in the case so no one can walk up and just take it out of the case. #4. The picture and functionality is really good for the price. It shows most of my recordings in 15-30 second intervals. You can two way audio to someone at your door even if you are not there. I traveled out of state and felt very confident in the cameras. You can two-way talk, you can see live footage, or your video notifications that you can click and watch. It caught a black cat walking on my porch at 5am. This is so similar to my sister's ring and does all the same things except cheaper as I was able to purchase 3 for $52.99 each at the time. For less than $200 I had 3 door cameras and I also purchased motion lights and inside door bell chimer receiver. Here are the Cons: The battery life I have yet to figure out. So far after 3 weeks one of my cameras (the front door with the most notifications) had to be recharged. The other two cameras did not and are still good! The back door I need to get a WiFi boost as it will not connect to my WiFi. Understandable as my router is at the front of the house. The camera footage does not record all sometimes if a car is speeding down the road I will only catch the back end of the car and not see the whole footage as it only grabs 15 seconds of it. I was hoping I could switch something to do 30 second min footage if it detects something but it does it on its own. Depends on the amount of time of motion I have some at 15 seconds and others at 45 seconds to 60. I bought SD cards but realize I do not see any SD storage for this device. I pay $10.99 a year for cloud storage which is not bad as SD cards were more than that for 3 devices. All 3 devices are connected to one account and one cloud (one fee). I did notice where the camera is and my porch light location at night there are areas that are darker near my driveway. So I am adding a light near my driveway so it can see it better, but it does great on my porch, sidewalk area at night. Great night vision and day. You can see the tree limbs blowing in the wind and hear the birds etc. Makes you feel like you're home even if you're not.

Was excited to get this camera based off reviews. Overal the camera is nice and the picture and sound is fantastic. Love how it has two way audio! The install of it was also pretty simple. I got this for my apt since a lot of stuff has been going on. Sad part is the senor for motion detection stopped working legit one motnh after getitng this. It stopped working on the 5th and when coming back to see my options for a replacement or return, just my luck my window for return has passed ( feb4th 2023) go figure. The battery life is great, wifii is easy to set up and the app is very easy to work. Unfortunately me and my husband can't get the sensor now to work. We have it all on the correct settings where it was working great for high traffic and to get alerted but again randomly stopped working. Even when standing directly infront of the camera it Doesn't work where before it did! If it wasn't that the sensor stopped working legit after a month, I'd give this a five star. But due to that the senor stopped working legit only having this for one month kinda blows. It wasn't cheap but yet not that expensive but still. Also it's in an area where it don't get wet so I know it's not that. We also cleaned the camera lense and the senor lense and yet still don't work. I see now other are having same issues after a month. So just be cautious when buying, bc odd reason why everyone having issues with the alerts not going off when ppl are going by.. and it's always after a month. Right when return is passed.
