Used this to add a bit more angular adjustment to the existing shower head -- to accommodate all members of the family using it. Chrome color matches the existing fixtures. Solid construction, includes the teflon sealing tape, no-brainer to install, and has enough friction to easily hold a 4" showerhead in place, yet is still pretty easy to adjust. No leaks. Does exactly what I needed. Why didn't I do this sooner?

I installed a “canopy” brand showerhead and they’re quite large and heavy because they have a filter inside. I noticed after the installation that they do not swivel. So I ordered this connector which is basically a swivel elbow. Installation was easy, but the showerhead was so heavy that it kept Going all the way back down on its own. Being a little handy, I kind of took the connector apart and added an extra gasket, which made the ball rotate very tightly. I put everything back together and now it works perfectly. I know I had to adjust the connector, which is not a good thing, but I was able to get it to work and happy. For regular use it should be perfect! If you have a very large and heavy showerhead, you will have to either use a different product or do what I did.

This works great!! My plumber said he would need to special order something like this and was going to charge me $80 to install it. I found this on amazon for.. I think less than $10 and I just screwed it into my shower head and attached it to the shower pipe (took about 4 minutes) and it works great! Now I can angle my shower head how I want without any issue. Great value for the cost and looks great!

this is a game changer! if you are going to purchase the shower head you have to have this too! This helps to move the shower head up down and side to side it was very easy to install looks very sleek and nice no leakage at all! and it works very well. so glad i purchase this!

Feels quality in the hand and smooth when pivoting. Came with 3 extra rubber gaskets in a small but thick zip baggie, and a little roll of teflon tape. Good value

I installed it, shower head flopped down. Took it back apart. Took apart the ball head and installed a flat (thin) rubber gasket behind the white gasket. Put it together, now has resistance. Installed everything back in shower, WORKS PERFECT ! I would buy again. I like that the part has a wider swivel.

The adapter severely restricts water flow. Without any tilting of the shower head by poor design therefore default you loose 50% of water volume. When tilting the shower head fully down or to the side, your water volume is constricted at least 85%.
