Best price and quality primer
This primer was the best price and I found it not just easy to spread but it was very easy to clean up too. Went very far, a gallon left me more for later use. Used it for priming my garage floor before laying matting.dried in right amount of time and I had good working time. Great adhesion and it went on smoothly and quickly.

great primer, met all my requirements
Great primer, met all my requirements. I don't normally leave positive reviews but Prime All really deserves one. After so many disappointing primers it was a pleasant surprise to use one that covers all the bases (no pun intended). I had sanded and repaired a set of vintage double doors so was left with a lot of blemishes to hide. I did use two thin coats of primer (applied with a spray gun) but the end product was a nice even coat in texture and color as a base for my top coat (Insl-X cabinet coat). The price of a gallon was more than fair. Before I purchased it I did see several negative reviews about how difficult it was to open the can due to a plastic ring around the lid to keep it from popping open in transport. Insl-X must have got the message as they now include a special little tool (like a can opener) to easily remove the plastic ring. Once the ring is off it is like any other can of paint. Praise also for the rest of the packaging: an exact fitting box with supports and padding so that transport is completely safe. A+ for packaging. Not to mention the price is more than fair especially in today's inflated market place. I have to say that I am completely satisfied with every single aspect of this purchase. My end result looked like a pro did it and I am a DIY guy. Obviously, highly recommend.

Good primer
Works well. Good value. Those who complain about it being difficult to remove the plastic shipping ring should have read the instruction sheet in the package

Easy to use great product
Used it for my whole house. As a primar. We had a very bright colors that needed to be turned down. It works wonderful. The new paint has a great adhesion it’s covering very well. The smell is not too bad. It’s not too thick not to thin just right. The size is good as well. You really don’t need that much of it, but it works amazing.

Stop! This is the one you're looking for
This primer is AMAZING! So I have always refinished furniture but I hadn't done it on a while, and I'm 60 now. My hands are not as strong as they used to be and they hurt as i worked on a keyboard over 20 years now. I have chronic back pain as well from 2 herniated disc's and if that isn't enough I like many others my age have problems with knee pain. Now that you know the limitations let's talk.I decided I wanted to remodel my kitchen which included taking my dark cabinets to a light gray.Day 1 was a disaster. My body hurt and the project had just begun. I dragged beat up body to bed determined to find a way.The next morning I found my sander and started my project up again. The end of day 2 found me in much the same condition as day 1.The next morning as i lay in bed taking inventory of the damage, I began an internet search for help. I decided to try a primer instead, but we all know all primers are not created equal.I began to read the reviews for this primer so I decided to give it a try. This product is exactly what I needed!!Instead of stripping or sanding to the bare wood, all I had to do was scuff the surface really good to take the shine and slickness off the stain, wash off the dust, use 2 coats of primer then paint. The first Pic is the cabinet door scuffed up, then 1 coat of primer and finally the 2nd coat of primer to cover and darkness that bled through. The primer dried to a chalky white finish in 20 minutes allowing me to keep making progress. This is the primer you want, I promise you.
