This thing is compact and convenient, so it’s great for my needs because I do not like clutter. It connects simply to your dock - its plug and play just like that. Has a little dimple so you can still dock your Switch with Joycon attached to it with no problem. Perfect! Charging JoyCon is easy. Just slide the end on there and you’re good. For the price here, you’re getting a nice solution. Had not heard this brand before so I was skeptical but even the box is higher quality than I expected. It also has those grooves where you can put game cartridges. Nice added feature, but I won’t be using it, in fear that my precious Zelda cartridge may get damaged from sliding in and out, cuz it has a tight grip on it. This thing is not without flaw though. One minor complaint - these charging lights. They get the job done, so this isn’t a deal breaker, but they’re not always 100% accurate from the get go. For example, I had 4 dead JoyCon, and when I slipped them on, only 3 of the lights showed red. My purple JoyCon showed green. No. I checked via my Switch and it said that JoyCon was depleted.. About 30 seconds later, it finally turned red. However. A few hours later, all of the lights turned green and I knew that they were all charged up! But then I did another test.. I popped in a 100% charged JoyCon and the light showed red. Took about 10 seconds for it to show green. So it definitely gets the job done. You just have to give it a few seconds to read accurate. Either way, pop your dead JoyCon on there and they will get charged. Another thing I would have liked to see with these lights are an auto shut off. The lights are always on, even if there’s no JoyCon in them. I don’t like a bunch of lights so I would prefer they only light up when a JoyCon is attached. This device DOES have an On/Off switch though, so you can always turn the lights off manually if ya wanted. Overall, I don’t regret getting this. It gets the job done, doesn’t break the bank, and it’s 2 day shipping with Prime.

It’s still working fine, and it helps me to keep the tv stand organized. The kids used to loose their controllers, not anymore. Price was not bad too and it charges pretty fast.

Zugegeben: Ich habe mir, als ich die Ladestation bestellt habe, keine allzu großen Hoffnungen auf ein brauchbares Produkt gemacht. Zwar sprachen die vielen positiven Bewertungen für sich, für den Preis habe ich aber damit gerechnet, irgendwo Abstriche machen zu müssen. Ich wurde aber eines Besseren belehrt. Schon der haptische Eindruck wusste zu überzeugen, weil sich die Station nicht nach billigem Plastik anfühlt, sondern für meine Begriffe recht solide daherkommt. Der Anschluss an die Switch-Dockingstation funktionierte problemlos und mit dem beigelegten Klebestreifen fixiert, wackelt da nun auch nichts hin und her. Die Joy Cons sind kinderleicht rein- und rauszustecken, halten aber trotzdem ausreichend fest in der Station. Besonders gut finde ich die Möglichkeit, über einen kleinen Schalter die Station abzuschalten, was nicht nur die LEDs ausschaltet, sondern tatsächlich auch den Ladevorgang beendet. Das fehlt mir bei den Stationen von Mitbewerbern, die immer eingeschaltet sind, sobald sie mit der Dockingstation verbunden sind. Auch die Ladeleistung ist ausreichend, um die Joy Cons in der beschriebenen Zeit wieder aufzuladen. So geht mir jetzt nicht mehr der Saft aus. Nett ist auch die Möglichkeit, Spielekarten vorne an der Station zu befestigen. Nutze ich zwar nicht, weil ich alle Spiele in der OVP habe, finde ich aber trotzdem clever. Einziges kleines Manko, das aber nicht zum Abzug führt (weil es bei der Entwicklung vermutlich noch nicht bedacht werden konnte): Die Station verfügt über eine Aussparung, durch die die Power-LED der Switch Dockingstation „durchscheint“. Ich besitze allerdings die OLED-Version und an deren Dockingstation sitzt die LED an anderer Stelle, sodass sie nun von der Ladestation verdeckt wird. Damit kann ich mich allerdings gut abfinden, da ich die Power-LED ohnehin nicht wirklich benötige. Vielleicht ist das aber für jemanden wichtig, daher wollte ich darauf zumindest hinweisen. Dem Hersteller kann man aber vermutlich keinen Vorwurf machen, da das Produkt noch aus der „Vor-OLED-Zeit“ stammen dürfte… Alles in allem ein klasse Produkt, das mich in jedweder Hinsicht wirklich positiv überrascht hat und meines Erachtens jeden Cent wert ist!

This is such a good product, it charges all 4 of the controllers simultaneously and stores the game cards as well as being a docking station for hooking up to the tv. We have even taken this on our holidays to hook up to the tv to let the kids play
