After having two back surgeries not long ago, I needed something to support my lower back while i sat up to read/watch Netflix on my bed. After scouring Amazon and reading the reviews on this product, I decided to take the plunge and try it out.I ordered the microsuede bedrest pillow in brown to match home decor etc..The product arrived on-time, and I was actually quite surprised at how small the package on my doorstep was. That said, once the plastic encasing around the pillow is broken, the pillow immediately inflates. (Reminded me of a fireplace bellows or something...)After the pillow had expanded fully, I decided to test it out. I am happy to say that as a larger guy, 6'1", this pillow works great!I was a bit worried that it may be too small at first, but it's size is definitely sufficient for comfortable viewing/reading.

This item is very high quality. I thought it was a bit pricey but the reviews helped me make the decision. It arrived really fast too! It's very comfortable and sturdy; two of the main qualities that I was looking for. Now, prospect buyers keep in mind that this is not a very large item. I am 5'9" and 140 lbs and it's just about the right size for me. I think the side pockets may come in handy. This item does the job of keeping you comfortable while in bed to read, study or simply watch TV. The only thing that I can think of to make it better, is that if you want to rest your head back you need to supplement it with one of those round elongated cushions. Other than that, I highly recommend it!

I'm keeping my stuff. (And,yes, I said this in another review)When I moved several years ago, I tried to decide what I would do with my bedrest. I had had it for years. But the stuffing was precisely intact, and the corduroy was perfectly preserved. However, one of the seams was ripped.Why bother trying to stitch up the seam? It wouldn't be "pretty"; and besides, the bedrest was bulky and took up a good deal of space. Also, even though it didn't show dirt, I needed to use some upholstery cleaner on it. Also, I was too preoccupied with moving to bother about a bedrest.Several years later, I had tired of trying to find a replacement bedrest. Whereas only an upholstered piece can serve as a good bedrest, all the ones I found were just squishy pillows. Finally, I decided to try Lalabe.What a bust. I only received a few dollars back after I paid to return the product and after the distributor deducted the shipment cost from my purhase price. I would have done better to "chuck" it. But, as silly as it seems, it was a matter of principle?I have trouble believing that buyers actually rated this product affirmatively. The manufacturer? Yes. Buyers? No.

This bedrest is exactly how it appears online. It is a deep purple color and the material is soft, yet durable. My son LOVED getting this for Christmas. The pockets on the side are handy too. I plan to order a couple more in different colors!I had originally ordered this online through another store, but at the last minute they said they didn't have it. I found it on Amazon right away and they shipped it immediately to me in a plain brown box so my kids wouldn't know what was in it. So pleased with this purchase and I keep telling my friends about it.

The color is great, but for an adult this is too small. This would be great for a kid!

This item looked really nice in the picture, but I have to admit to being highly skeptical when it arrived at my door. I was much smaller that the picture had seemed to suggest (though, admittedly, there was no true sense of scale).That said, I'm happy to report that my disappointment dissolved the first time I used it to play video games in bed. In spite of its relatively small side, the pillow is actually very soft, supportive and comfortable. After being convinced that I was going to have to send it back, I'm now considering getting a second one for my girlfriend.Lesson learned: don't judge a bedrest pillow by its size until you've actually used it for a 5-hour gaming session. This is a vastly superior product to the much larger (and harder) support pillow that I was previously using. A good quality product at a reasonable price.

Exactly what I was looking for. My previous had more linin type cover and was rough and took in spills. This one is much more soft and comfy.My only issue is the one that arrived was a deep pink instead of purple. My daughter liked it so she got it. I contacted Living Healthy and purchased another one as returning it was going to cost more than just buying a new one. It is my personal opinion that all returns for their mistakes should be covered by the supplier.

As a work from home mother and online student. I got this to bring more comfort when I don't want to be in my office. It sits up good. Soft some. But arms are short and not too fluffy or firmYet, this may be as I had a failed acdf surgery and have plate and screws in my neck . And cervical stenosis with herniated disc in lower back, yes only 36 but it still not as comfortable as I thought.I like how it sits without mushing up. Wish arms were longer .
