After playing for many years, constantly looking for the solution to ultimate comfort, quality, a stylish good look, and packability, this is the one. If you’re like me, you have an assortment of neck straps that you have moved on from in search of something better. I was most recently using the Sax Lab setup. It felt great, but was an awkward setup, comfortable in some ways and not on others. It also didn’t pack well, and looked like the equivalent of dental head great from the 80s. When playing Tenor or Bari for extended periods of time, none of that mattered. I just wanted the weight off my neck. Then I stumbled upon this Adorence setup. I bought a “used” one at a discounted price just to give it a try. To my surprise, it has checked all my boxes. It adjusts like the Sax Lab harness, but doesn’t have the awkwardness. It looks like the similar setups (Boston Sax Shop, for example) that cost twice or even the times more. And it packs away inside my Tenor bell in the case. I’m sold. Give it a shot!

Love this sax harness! The best sax strap I've yet to find! Alleviates any tension that's typically produced by neck straps! Not only is it comfortable but also looks very stylish 😎 I've received many compliments from curious bystanders!

I like the strap because it takes the stress off my neck. For a 67 year old male less stress on the neck is wonderful. The two problems have is with trying to bend the metal part of the strap which gave me a difficult time getting them round and perfect and adjusting the straps to a good length took about 40 minutes to figure it out even after watching YouTube videos. I finally got the straps where I needed them but I’m still working on trying round out the metal parts so the item can fill comfortably on my shoulders.

I've had this since 2024 and while its better than neck straps it is horrible for playing to the side or anything not directly in front of you as the shoulder straps/metal twists.

I got this shoulder harness to use on tenor and bari sax, and it's incredibly well made and feels super sturdy. I've had the chance to play with it a few times, and I'm still struggling to find the right bend to relieve the most weight from my neck, which has lead me to believe this harness isn't meant for large-bodied musicians. I'm fat -- 300 pounds, 6'1" -- and there's absolutely no way I could fit into the harness if I had it bent like the pictures show. I don't know if I could even bend it over my knee with that sharp a curve! (See the pictures for the curve I'm currently using) Without the drastic curve that the pictures show, the harness wants to pull down and rest the back-binding on my neck. The pressure it places on my neck is still lower -- in both position and intensity -- than a typical neck strap, even when it slips all the way down, so that's a plus, but it's not what I was hoping for. Something that I've found that helps is moving the binding to the bottom hole in the harness (Again, see the pictures), which forces the bottom to stay together, instead of trying to overlap like it wanted to do before I did that (I get the feeling that whoever designed this strap never met someone with a neck as large as mine!). I'll keep using it, as it's at least an upgrade from my Rico strap, at least in terms of neck pressure, but I may have to finally admit that a traditional bra-style shoulder harness is what I need. By all means, give this strap a try; just keep in mind it's a lot smaller than the pics make it look.

I got this sax hanger because I found hanging my sax around my neck was literally a pain in the neck. It was becoming a problem when I wanted to practice for long periods. I have been using this hanger for about 3 weeks now - with two practices each day. I never notice the weight of the sax any more. As noted by other reviewers, it takes a little patience to get the bends just right for your shoulders, but I found I only needed to note where the pressure points were and make a little adjustment a few times to get it to where there are no pressure points. One other thing to note is the way the height is adjusted. It takes a little time to adjust the cords to get the height just right. You won't be able to make a quick adjustment while the sax is clipped on. However, with my neck strap I usually had to give it a quick pull-up 2 or 3 times during a practice session. I set this one to my liking, pulled the cords tight and moved the spring locks tight against the metal. It hasn't slipped at all over the last couple weeks.

This strap is impossible to adjust if you are above 186 cm (6'1") hight. I'm 6'2" tall and no matter how I bent and reshaped and re-bent the "frame" of these shoulder straps, the mouthpiece of my tenor sax would not reach my lips (just about 1" below the optimal height. Even when I pull the adjustable cords all the way up. At first I adjusted it all according to the instructions in the video. It wasn't good so, I recruited a friend to assist and we tried re-bending this frame in various ways to make the hook higher. However, above some height, no matter how well the frame sits tight on your back and shoulders, when you put some weight (the sax) on it, it slides down and loses its good grip on the shoulders. I have few other straps including the SaxHolder and the Balam leather. They both work very well. If you don't like the SaxHolder's solution which (in my taste) puts the horn a bit too far from my body, then I suggest the Balam which is very similar to this defective product but works well (though much more expensive...).

Easier to put on than a full harness feels secure and comfortable with baritone sax.

Good Quality and Very functional Sax Strap , especially for studying the saxophone for long hours. I highly recommend it.

Pour mon saxophone Baryton: J'ai acheté ce harnais pour: remplacer le cordon d'origine qui pèse sur la nuque mais qui permet une liberté de mouvement. Remplacer mon harnais à sangles BG qui reparti bien le poids sur les épaules mais qui limite la respiration en serrant les côté de mon torse et limite la mobilité du saxophone. (Il a un mousqueton en laiton) Avec ABORENCE on a un harnais qui cumule les avantages des deux cités précédemment: report de masse sur épaules et liberté de mouvement sans compresser la cage thoracique ni le bas du cou. L'inconvénient : il faut s'appliquer pour l'ajuster à sa morphologie. (j'ai utilisé un pot à fleurs conique pour bien choisir le diamètre de cintrage). Ensuite il faut toujours le laisser cintré et le mettre dans sa housse comme ça. Le cuir semble être un cuir "vegan" , du sky. L'assemblage est soigné et irréprochable. Le mousqueton en laiton avec une bague plastique pour protéger l'anneau du saxophone paraît solide. Le prix est correct, mais sans plus pour un produit chinois. La livraison sans souci. Je suis satisfait de son utilisation durant 2 heures consécutives. Il ne m'apparaît pas utile pour mes saxophones ténors, altos, sopranos droit ou courbé, leur masse ne nécessite pas de harnais. Un cordon normal leur suffit. Cordialement

It is a little harder to bend correctly than expected. I had a number of goes. It also probably requires some padding in the front as it has very narrow straps which could do with better weight distribution. However, its aim is to relieve pressure on the neck and that is achieved.
