This stuff is the real deal. I can't believe it has any reviews lower than 5 stars. My skin LOVES this cream. I have purchased creams and moisturizers from high-end brands and spent hundreds of dollars. None of those products compare to vanicream. Not only is it budget friendly, but one jar will last you MONTHS. I have combination skin and am prone to the occasional eczema flare up. My biggest skin issue has always been how dry and flakey my cheeks get. My T-zone is very oily, which I can handle, but keeping the skin on my cheeks moisturized has been a struggle for years. I regret not learning about this product sooner. The first night I used vanicream, I woke up the next day and my skin still felt soft and bouncy. I was impressed. I continued using vanicream every night for several weeks, and I can't believe the positive effect it's had on my skin. I am not overexagerating when I say this stuff has been a game changer for me. Thinking about all the money I've wasted on name brand products makes me cringe so hard. I had such a positive experience using it on my face that I also tried using it in the bend of my arm when I had a small eczema patch appear. The next day it was cleared up. This stuff healed the eczema the same way cortisone cream does, but minus the addictive steroid! I've been using it on my face, body, and hands now, and I've not had a single negative experience yet. Now, onto the specifics. I saw so many other reviews complaining that the cream doesn't immediately soak into their skin, and that's so silly to me. If something is working for you, why complain about such a minor issue?! Yes, you have to rub this cream in well. When you first apply it to your face, it looks like you just applied a glob of sunscreen. Depending on how much you apply, it's going to take a minute or two for you to rub in the cream. I usually apply it before bed when I'm doing my usual nightly skincare routine and I have the TV playing in the background. I just watch whatever movie or series that's playing while rubbing in the cream. This stuff works so well I could not care less that I actually have to put effort into applying it. Is this a good morning cream to apply before makeup? No. Use a lighter moisturizer for that. From my experience, the formula does not work very well with makeup on top. This cream is great to use at night, before you go to bed, so that it can work it's magic while you sleep. It's fragrance free. For anyone that is sensitive to smells, you don't have to be concerned about that with this product. In terms of consistency, vanicream is somewhere in the middle. It's not super thick, but it's not runney either. One of my favorite things about this cream is that it's noncomedogenic, aka, it won't clog your pores or cause acne. So for all my acne-prone friends out there, you don't have to worry about that with vanicream. This stuff is also usable for people with sensitive skin. Being eczema prone, my skin is pretty sensitive, but I haven't experienced any negative effect from it. I really just love this stuff and my skin loves it too. You can feel it absorb into your skin, and even hours after you've applied it, your skin literally feels moisturized and bouncy. Also, because I have combination skin, my T-zone is usually pretty oily, but this cream hasn't caused any excess oil for me. I'm not sure what else to say other than to give this stuff a try. I was blown away by its effectiveness. The fact that it's so budget friendly makes me even more satisfied. No more spending $80-$100 on moisturizing creams, and that's honestly a relief in and of itself. If this review was too long to read, just know this cream is amazing, my combination/eczema prone skin loves it, and for the first time, in a long time, I feel like I've found a solid product that truly works for me. Helps me stay moisturized during the dry winter. Doesn’t make me break out. It goes on very smooth. Silky. This works for any skin type. The ingredients isn’t too intimidating. I like that

This cream is so good if you have dark spots on your face. It removes them, makes your skin silky, and cleans the skin beautifully.

Best moisturizer EVER! It’s not greasy like some others, they absorb into the skin & it does work for dry skin. I used them on my granddaughter’s heals & in no time at all, her skin was soft again. I took it with me to Japan & Korea when the weather was cold & it kept our skin from drying out.

Works as described. You don't have to use very much because it's thick. Ideal for my elderly feet and skin and hands. Actually heals the skin on my feet. I am seeing a big difference in the softness and texture of my skin, even after washing. It takes a bit to dry but is totally worth it. The tub will last for a long time.

I waited to write this review until I used the product for about six weeks. I can honestly say I've tried it and I love it! I did not want to use skin creams on my face before, because I am prone to breakouts. I decided to give this a try because my skin, while still prone to breakouts, has gotten a lot drier, and I hated going around with dry-looking, dry-feeling skin. I have been putting this on morning AND night after washing my face. It absorbs quickly and leaves my skin feeling like I've been to a spa! I don't know if I look any better, but it sure makes me feel better! Actually, I feel like it gives my skin a finished look, which is about as good as it gets since I don't wear makeup. (I did wear makeup one time over this skin cream and had no problems with it.) Reasons I love it: - Great price! - Absorbs well! - Leaves my skin feeling nurtured, pampered, and soft. - I've had no adverse reactions; no rash, itchiness, redness, or breakouts.

Amazing lotion. My body tends to get very dry when making contact with water, and so every time I shower, I feel like I am baby prunes from SpongeBob. I put a bit of this lotion on my hands and face, leaving me completely moisturized and good to go. Even in instances where I've gone two days without showering (yuck), my skin still feels great. It's a bit thick compared to other lotions I've tried, but for me it means I don't need to use much. As such, it's been over 2 years since my initial purchase. I felt inclined leaving this review upon realizing that. The pump is no good once it runs really low, however. But that's no biggie since you can just scoop some up by hand at that point. The quality, amount, and price make this probably the best lotion out there.

The bottle is old, yellowed, and scratched. There is no clear indication of whether it is unopened or has been tampered with. Extremely poor packaging overall. BUT after using for 1 month I would say this is the best moisturizer I have used till now. Absolutely no allergic reaction (I have a very sensitive skin) but yes it's a bit thick.

Tengo tres semanas usándola y veo resultados maravillosos en mi piel con rosácea, está muchísimo menos rojiza, muy hidratada y se siente más tersa, además de que no me sacó granitos. La uso como crema de día y noche y no afecta la textura de mi maquillaje, una gota del tamaño de un frijol es suficiente para cubrir el rostro y el bote trae mucho, durará muchísimos meses a como le estoy dando el uso. Si tienes piel grasa como yo y la usas por la noche, despertarás con la cara muy grasosa, simplemente limpia tu cara como siempre y vuelve a aplicar, ya que no es comedogenica y no saca granitos.
