Q: Is this considered non roll? I am needing something that is not too soft.

I have never had a problem with it rolling, but I only use a 6 1/2 piece for the dresses I made with it.

Q: Does it stretch to at least triple it's length?

I don't believe it stretches to triple the size but it definitely doubles in size, I have used this elastic successfully for several projects.

Q: All of the elastic in the pajamas I own has stretched out. What elastic should I purchase that is more lasting?

This elastic works great! It would be strong enough for a pajama pant waist band replacement. But it isn’t as wide as you might need.
