This was fairly easy to program after watching a video. The hardest part is getting to the wire by moving the panel liners. Programmed to a 95 Mustang and all functions work well. Much cheaper than aFord dealer.

You can find the YT video on this, turn the key on (don't start) and basically you're going to get to the left rear quarterpanel through the trunk and short the plug that is sitting there. It toggles the door locks, then you hit the LOCK on your new FOB, and it cycles the door locks. Turn the key off, back on, and the FOB works. Really easy.

We had a problem with our 1997 Mustang Cobra that was causing it to have alarm issues. Was a weird problem we couldn't really diagnose. Finally, we thought why not try replacing the remote. Problem solved! The remote looks exactly like the factory one, programming was super simple and all our remote locking and security issues are solved. Best kind of product: it just works.

I'll update this through time. Arrived on time, looked fresh and clean. I turned on the ignition (KOEOFF), jumped the connectors in the trunk area near the Body Control Module in a 1997 Thunderbird, and pressed a button. Programmed immediately. Range isn't great that I can tell, but the point was to be able to arm/disarm the alarm since the key I'm using is not a chip key, and it also works the trunk so I don't have to spend years trying to get the key to work in the trunk lock. Did come with batteries, though I'm not sure what sort of quality they are.

Bought these for my 94 mustang and the packages were mailed on time. I opened them and tried to program them after reading the directions. On the card the give you it states " please DO NOT open the remotes, they have been tested and are sending a signal". After trying to program them and failing multiple attemps i thought to go to my local auto parts store and see if the remotes were sending a signal and come to find out all four batteries were dead. Spent the same amount on batteries as i did per remote. Not a happy customer
