Very good value for money, high functionality with a variety of high-quality accessories, and whilst there is a lack of colour diversity within the brands, no one is buying it to look pretty, it's functional, good size, not too small for paints, but not too bad, very transportable, especially as a student, nifty high-quality paints, for beginners, or professionals alike.

The HIMI gouache set is an excellent and affordable entryway for those seeking to learn how paint with gouache. The product entails a sturdy case (not travel size) and arrives with a pallet as well as three different brushes. Whilst the quality of the brushes is not too good, they are adequate and I have not had any trouble with the bristles as of yet. The pallet however, seems to stain quite easily. In relation to the paint itself, the product entails a wide range of colors and boasts a rather creamy texture that resembles an in-between of gouache and acrylic paint. When painting, the paint seems quick to dry however this makes the paint itself prone to drying out. An effective solution to this is simply misting the paint after use in order to retain moisture. In extreme cases as far as I am aware, the dry paint can be re-activated with water. Overall, HIMI is an effective choice for those seeking to learn or further a hobby.

I really enjoy painting and wanted to start learning about gouache paints after seeing some beautiful artwork online. I got this set because of its relatively cheap price and recommendations artists had given it. When it arrived I immediately broke out all my materials so I could test the paints and make a swatch sheet. I didn't realise at the time of purchase but the set comes with three brushes and a palette, which was nice. The paints were easy to get ready and I had a very enjoyable afternoon painting with them and getting used to this medium. I had seen online that if you don't seal the lid properly, the paints crack up and it can be a pain to activate them again. However, I am yet to experience this issue as every time I open up the box the paints are perfectly ready to use. As I said earlier, this is my first set of gouache paints, however since then I have tried other brands. I can safely say these paints are the best quality of all the ones I've tried out. 100% recommend.

I bought these for my daughter as she's started to show an interest in art again after a couple of years struggling with her mental health. She loves them & showed me the picture I've attached to the review which she painted using these paints. The only downside she mentioned is that they do develop a dry layer on top pretty quickly & also the pink develops a bit of mould. But she just scraped that off & was able to use the paint. I think it would be better if there were a way of resealing the little tubs after use, but otherwise these are lovely paints with a great range of colours.

Ho provato il set di pittura a guazzo ABEIER HIMI e sono rimasto davvero soddisfatto: è un kit completo e ben pensato, perfetto per chi ama dipingere, sia che si tratti di principianti, studenti o artisti amatoriali. Il set include 24 colori da 30 ml, una gamma bella ampia che ti permette di esplorare molte sfumature senza dover mischiare continuamente i colori. La qualità del guazzo è buona: i colori sono vividi, coprenti e si stendono con facilità sulla carta, permettendo sia lavaggi leggeri che strati più densi a seconda dell’effetto che vuoi ottenere. Mi è piaciuto anche che il kit venga fornito con 3 pennelli di diverse dimensioni e una tavolozza, così hai subito tutto il necessario per iniziare a creare. I pennelli si impugnano bene e, finora, non hanno perso setole durante l’uso, il che è sempre un bel plus in un set già completo. La tavolozza è utile per mescolare i colori e sperimentare nuove tonalità, e grazie alla quantità di vernice disponibile (30 ml per colore) puoi lavorare su più progetti senza finire subito il materiale.
