Does Active Edge function properly, through this case, when the sides are squeezed?

Yeah the active edge works great! Loving this case all around; great protection and functionality.

Will a popsocket fit on the back of this case?

My friend has a popsocket on the back of his, buy its mounted lower on the back of the phone where the textured pattern begins to taper out. Don't know whether thats his preference, or because his popsocket wouldn't fit in the center (more likely the scenario).

Does this work with a magnetic car mount?

I don't use a magnetic car mount. Magnets sometimes interfere with the proper operation of NFC so I wouldn't want to put one in my phone's case.

On the spectrum from easy removal to nearly impossible to take off, how's this case like to remove?

I find it easy to remove. I have another (different brand) case that, although it's very nice looking, is so hard to remove that I stopped using it for fear of damaging my phone; not so for the Speck Presidio Grip cases.
