Update... 2.13.18So as stated prior these are a great boot still wear comfortable only slight thing that get me is that rocks are always getting stuck in the tread, but other than that Greats boots.!!! Warning Do not attempt this at home!!!Also sense one boot was ruined from my accident that left me with an odd boot and sence they held up so well from my accident I’d see to what extreme they go for. What better way than to take it to the range. The safety toe held up very well the first few shots glance off the safety to but one round I thought made it through upon further examination found out that the .40 bullet got stuck in the safety toe (pic shown after bullet removed). Great safety toe design and remember do not try this a home experiment was done in a safe and controlled environment!These are great boots well worth the money. I use these as motorcycle boots and they hold up very well. I was actually in an accident with these boots and they saved my feet and did there job well. For this reason I did not hesitate to buy again. They are also very comfortable and support my ankles well. The attached picture is the aftermath of the accident to see how well these boots protect.

This is my second pair of Original S.W.A.T boots. The first pair has gone through three Montana winters already and are showing little sign of any wear. This pair appears to be even better. This is definitely a tough boot. It is a little stiff right out of the box but not so much so that breaking them in is uncomfortable. In fact they were comfortable the first time on. They provide a lot of support and protection but are light weight compared to comparable boots. I don't care for a real "busy" looking boot, and these aren't as "busy" looking in person as they appear in the picture. In fact, they are very good looking. Both pair are very well made and durable. I hate that they're made in Cambodia, but I love the boot. Your feet deserve them. A good value for the money, even at full retail price.Update 09/2017: I like them enough to order a second pair of this style. These boots are tough, comfortable, durable, good looking, and provide really solid footing.

I'm probably closer to 3.5 stars, but feeling a little let down after needing to change my damp socks after riding the motorcycle in the rain today. If the water had gotten in around the tongue, or over the top, I would be fine, but the only part of my socks that were wet were the TOES!. The water seems to have soaked through the toes of the boots. Perhaps they are waterproof if you happen to step walk through a puddle, but don't expect them to keep the water out if you are riding 22 miles in the rain.I've had these boots for about 5 months now, and I wear them an average of 5 days a week, or pretty much every time I hop on the motorcycle to ride to and from work (about a 22 miles each way). The boots show wear on the toes from the beating they get being exposed to freeways speeds, but otherwise seem to be holding up fairly well. They are comfortable when riding, walking, running, or just about anything else you might do while wearing footwear.

I have been buying this brand for years and they have never disappointed. From overall comfort to style, they are unbeatable. I always have to wear boots for work and I will say that these boots provide overall support. From heel to toe I feel as if I am walking on clouds. I also like the ankle support with the height of the boot. You honestly will not get this kind of quality from other brands with such an affordable price.

For years I have worn steel toed boots for quading, hunting. Heavy heavy boots. Walking around out in the bush bulldozing my way through. I'm sure with these boots I'll be able to play way longer, and that's important to me.We'll I tell you what, these are the best darn boots I have ever had the pleasure of wearing. Light weight, but tuff. Comfortable. Wearing around the house for a little break in period, but really, straight out of the box these are great.Hey, they will double as my bike boots. My Harley Davidson boots are no we're near how comfortable these are.The composit toes are great.Shipping fast.I'll be back!

4 stars so far, boots came today. As an electrician, steel toe boots are a no no. I have been getting composite toe boots for years now. Last pair were Bates and they were super light, however vertical support wasn't the greatest. These seem to be very study at the toes and vertical support. They are a bit heavier than the Bates but seem way more supported. I would recommend a good pair of high boot socks.

After 4 years wearing my first pair every day at work, the flex joint material above heel leather developed at hole. That’s why I just bought a new pair. I can still wear the old ones as long as I don’t have to step in water. Overall a very good boot.

I purchased a pair from the company. Within the first two months a zipper broke. They offered to replace one boot only. So I would've had a new tight boot and a broken in rough boot. No thanksWithin 3 months one inner heel was worn away a I didn't get a response from customer service. Both inside heels are now shot after less than a year.I placed two very well written and professional 2 star reviews on their website and neither of them were approved and posted on the website. Should've paid more for the Bates I had previously.
