This is a really nice divot tool with college ballmark. Very useful and nice size and feel.

This was another part of a birthday gift for my dad, who’s recently gotten back into golf and is a die-hard Penn State fan. The divot tool feels really solid and well-made, with a smooth switchblade mechanism that he thought was really cool. The single-prong design is a smart touch — it’s supposed to be easier on the greens, and that’s a nice detail for someone getting back into the game. The magnetic ball marker is a great bonus, and the team logo looks sharp. Overall, it's a great blend of function and team pride — a perfect little upgrade for any college golf fan.

Good quality. Switchblade mechanism is strong and seems sturdy. The ball marker is adequately recessed into the body of the divot tool and the magnet holding the ball marker is fairly strong too so that it should not come off on its own, but it's not difficult to remove the ball marker with your thumb when you need it. I flipped this in the air and let it drop on my carpeted floor 10 times to see if the ball marker would pop off, it did not come off a single time! Sturdy enough, and the divot fangs are sharp enough that you could use this as a self defense item if you needed to... just sayin'. : )

I really like this divot tool with built-in ball marker. The tool makes it very easy to lift the turf around ball marks on the green so that they can be tamped flat with a putter. The magnetic ball marker makes it convenient for quickly finding a ball marker. The only knock that I have on the divot tool is that the switchblade mechanism has become somewhat sticky over repeated use and does not open and close as cleanly or easily as it did when it was brand new.

If you’ve tried a quality one of these you’ve tried them all but that being said, the quality is great and it made a great gift.
