I used this carafe to serve coffee at an open house, and it kept the coffee piping hot for the entire event, easily 7 hours. The style and color are really nice. One drawback is that the lid is difficult to clean. It takes some effort to rinse it thoroughly and get all the water out.

The carafe is streamlined and keeps your beverages hot for the recommended period. Very nice porduct. I liked it so much I ordered two.

Stylish. Well constructed. Pretty pink shade. The only problem I have with it is that it isn’t insulated. The water only stays hot as long as you don’t open it. Once opened it immediately cools down and isn’t hot by the time I’m finished. But I like it and have adjusted to its quirks.

This is the best thermal carafe I have ever experienced using. Your beverage stays hot all day. No going back and forth to the kitchen to refill your cup. 51oz is plenty of beverage. The design is nice too.

Does not keep contents hotter than 3 hours / lever on lid sqeeks loudly

We are very pleased with this carafe. We primarily use it for chilled water either by bedside or on the deck. We do pre-chill as the directions suggest and it keeps the cold stuff well chilled for the time we use it - and even overnight when used for bedside water. I have not tried it for hot drinks,but would assume that it works as well for hot as cold (just pre-warm or pre-chill). The only concern we have - which many may think is foolish because it totally does not impact the use of the carafe - is that the color is not what we thought it would be. We purchased the blue color and thought from the website that it would be a soft blue - like a tiffany blue. It is not. It is a very very bright aqua. Again - this does not affect it's use, but if we had known it was such a BRIGHT blue aqua, we would have purchased the white carafe. I suspect the pink may also be a brighter color than displayed on the web site. However, It is very useful. Large enough for multiple people to use. Probably not very portable, but then it is not a "rugged" thermos.

I bought three of these (different colors). Two of them worked only for a short while and then started to instantly heat up from the outside and did not retain heat of liquids for more than an hour (in less than two hours the liquid is just lukewarm and one can drink a cup in one sip). Besides, when working, the lid generates a weird sound when used. Shame!

Very good thermos. Keeps tea hot for 12 solid hours, and warm for another 12 hours. The seal lasts about a year, I usually reorder a new one each xmas. Compared to other brands that need replacing every couple of months, this thermos is fantastic! I've been using this brand for 4 years, and have gifted it multiple times. Everyone who has received it from me have enjoyed it a lot, too.

Nice looking carafe. Wish it was a little bigger in order to hold an entire pot of coffee. Otherwise it's a smart looking carafe and keeps the coffee hot.

Purchased 2 of these for our palliative care nourishment cart at our long term care home. Works perfectly and keeps the water nice and hot for a good length of time.

It does not keep the water hot for more than an hour.
