Works as intended, cat liked it while she was alive. I would like to believe it helped her quite a bit. This is a good choice if you cant afford the Prescription version.

I have two male cats. One has experienced urinary issues in the past and the vet recommended food to promote urinary health. Royal Canin was the first food I tried and it’s been a success! It’s helped my cat with his issues and I feed it to my other one to support his health as well. They eat another brand of dry food that I have out for my two girls but prefer this every time. They fight for the best angle to eat. While it is expensive, it’s been worth the money to prevent vet visits.

I'm so glad my cat eats this. She's loving it and very picky as an eater. I also believe in it's benefits for her urinary tract.

Royal Canin urinary is the only dry food my 18 yr old Persian eats. Having lost a cat to kidney failure I asked the vet what (if anything) I could do to prevent another cat dying from kidney failure. He said "most kidney failure is attributed to a diet of cheap food." He told me the Royal Canin urinary was an excellent quality dry food & it would at least give me a shot at keeping my new cat alive. Nazzie is now 18 yrs old & I have to attribute her long life to Royal Canin urinary dry food!

I was so glad my old cat likes this. I have spent too much money trying to find food and supplements to support her liver and kidney condition that she will tolerate. I knocked a star off because I don't think non prescription catfoods should ever cost this much. Owning a pet and managing their aging bodies shouldn't only be for the rich. It's no wonder pets are surrendered when they are older.

After a big big vet bill we got the recommendation from the vet. So far no more vet visits so it must be working.
