I love this protector. I wear bracelets and I’m always mindful that I don’t scratch my computer. And this eliminates that. And it looks just like the computer itself. Love the texture too.

Honestly was really scared to install this product since you have to oh so perfectly align the track pad cutout with those very thin strips around the edges. Also this isn’t a 2 pack so you’ve got one shot. It didn’t come with any cleaning materials which was upsetting but I had a leftover wet & dry pad from my track bar pack so I used that to clean it. Then another downside I found was popping out the trackpad part from the wrist guard part… it was super difficult. There’s 2 thin lines on the outside not sure if it’s to closer fit on different models or what? That became a pain & it started ripping the backing paper off the thin strips to go around the trackpad itself. So I said f it & left caution in the wind. Just ripped the trackpad part out and removed the remaining paper on the rest of it (thankfully it isn’t clear so no need to worry about adhesive side finger prints). Then I aligned from the center as my ocd needs it to be almost perfect around the track pad & just laid it down. The left side laid flat perfectly the right had some bubbles. I gently pulled up the corner pulled it completely back to the trackpad then used a card to smooth it down. Voila! Almost complete perfection 😊 if you look closely at the corner I pulled you can see a slight imperfection from me doing so but you have to reallyyyyy look close.. too close! Overall I’m super happy! The space grey coloring is pretty spot on but as others mentioned a bit “glittery”. As a girl I really don’t mind, actually I quite like it & believe it will help even more hide eventual scratches. I’ve got a metal Apple Watch band & the feeling of metal on metal scraping while I was using my brand new Mac Pro was like nails on a chalkboard. She must be protected! Lol my case also very so slightly overlaps with the protector but it doesn’t seem to peel it up or effect it. ** I did not use the trackpad protector itself for that I will be installing a matte one

I’m really shocked by how perfectly the color matches my space gray MacBook. The quality is great also, you can fix it a few times if placed wrong. Highly recommend.

I bought this mainly because I have sensory issues and the aluminum of my MacBook makes my skin crawl. I tried all kinds of things to help (even gloves!) to no real avail. This is a product obviously not for the sensory person in mind, and it is an excellent product in terms of fit, adhesion, easy to apply/ remove, etc. For sensory issues this is also a serious plus. I wish it had more of a silicone feel to it, but the texture is not that "metal" feel, and even with my worst flare ups I can bear the sensation on my fingers and hands. I hope this can help someone else who struggles as well.

Doesn’t fit as aspected and does not hold for long

I’m happy I got this one! I looked through Amazon for quite a while because many products had reviews stating that the color of sizing was off and I really didn’t want that. This product just works—the color is pretty much exact, the fit it pretty much exact, and the feel of it is great. The touch pad works the same as it did before the sticker. I think specifically for the Spacegray that this product is a must because the space gray is known to show signs of wear sooner than silver. If it scratches it is more noticeable because the space gray is just a finish, so any scratch will show the silver underneath it. I’ve also heard that it develops a haze from continual use in the same spot. The application process probably took me 20 minutes because I’m a perfectionist. The sticker is not an exact cut out of the area it covers, but it is almost exact. It looks great on. Get it.

I decided to get this because with previous laptops, the color would fade in some areas. I was worried this would impede on the performance of my most beloved trackpad but it does not! I'm stoked. I love the matte texture to this too. I get sweaty palms, and this masks the sweat I perspire. Definitely recommend. Also, the color isn't too far off, it is a lighter gray but I love functionality over appearance.

I was worried when I bought my new MacBook Pro that I would scratch the palm rest and tracker with my watch and bracelets so had a look for a product that would cover them completely. This is a lovely product, easy to fit and looks really good. You would not know it’s there. Doesn’t take away from the beauty of a MacBook at all. Would definitely recommend.

Einfach abzubringen, ohne Luftblasen. Fällt so gut wie gar nicht auf. Würde ich wieder kaufen.
