A very nice product. I have used metal contour gauges in the past, but none of them had pin locks. I decided to try this gauge set mostly because of the locks, and this was a good choice. The pins move smoothly, the locks work very well, and the result is a tool that is very useful and practical. Well made.

4 stars since it’s not the most accurate with fine details but it’s a great solution for measuring and cutting around fixtures and connections that I need to place my new vinyl plank flooring around. Love the lock and how easy it is to work.

Good value

Forget about the other ones that only use fully ABS plastic, this is the tool to get because it has the interior aluminum core. Not only is it durable, but it makes the locking mechanism absolutely a solid lock unlike other models. The only thing that is bad, for some people with arthritis, is that the lock itself cannot be adjusted per needs of this type of individual as the locking mechanism is really tight and would be impossible for arthritis sufferers. You don't need great strength, but enough to push it down which is very stiff. The smaller device is made the same way. Plus, if you ever need to service it, there are 4 screws on the backside. This device also comes with a carrying case and a pencil. The lock is very strong and will never break the profile. I tested it, but did not want to risk breaking it under pressure. Solid product, very happy with this device. I would recommend this product and seller. Thank you.

It's a good help when you're doing difficult cuts

Great for flooring! Makes cuts so much easier around doorways and other odd shaped walls. Highly reccomend this product.

I got this for my self so I could do some trim and floating floor work in my bathroom. This is definitely the best value out there of all of these products. You get more for the money than all of the others that I looked at. I even really love the wallet card tool!
