We’ll made but not what I was looking for.

This is my 3rd alien gear holster. I have one for each gun and the shapeshift series is great for switching between which gun I want to carry.

Had a difficult time finding a holster for the M&P Shield .45. There are plenty for the M&P .45 but not the shield version. Once I found this, I ordered it and love it. It arrived on one day and I took it to qualify the very next morning. I have numerous off duty and back up weapons w/holsters. This was very easy to get used to the retention system and had no problems drawing within the qualification time restraints. I may purchase Alien Gear for some of my wife's weapons as well.

I ordered this product for my Glock 19 Gen 5 and was not disappointed. It is a perfect fit. The material they use seems to be very solid and my gun feels very secure in this holster. In my case the holster arrived 3 days early and was ready to use straight out of the packaging. One thing to note is I did remove the paddle and attach the belt slide and in my case the holster kept working its way towards my back on my belt (may vary depending on your belt) so I prefer the paddle.The paddle seems secure. I've had my friend try and take my weapon several different ways and it remained on my person. Still the belt slide adds that guarantee that it will not be removed from you as the paddle there is a risk. In my case it never came off.Also, their customer support has been helpful.Overall, I recommend this to anyone. If you are thinking about purchasing this holster then go for it!

I like the holster alot. Great for open carry or a day @ the range. The retention is great has a thumb 👍 release on the holster & it's modular so it's design for whatever firearm you order it for. The Alien paddle on it is cool. If your looking for concealment this is not the holster for you. They do have holster for concealment though

It looks great but still on the fence! I love the looks, but the two piece design with twist locks? I don’t know! To me, just seems to be to many moving parts for every day duty wear. I haven’t had any issues, but my confidence is lacking a bit. It may just be me...Check it out! You may be very happy with it.

NOTE: I returned this item for a brand that had a more reliable release mechanism.The paddle design is comfortable and adjustable, but the thumb release is almost useless for someone like me with medium sized hands. My thumb needs to push so far down it makes drawing from this holster almost pointless for any type of match shooting (like USPSA Steel Challenge, etc).The build quality is ehh - its nice that you can take it apart to clean (since the muzzle is closed at the bottom), but the molded plastic was just slightly off.

Got this for my husband and he loved it but I accidentally got an over the pants version and he wanted a concealed carry under the pants one. The company was great and allowed him to switch to a slightly more expensive version and waived the extra money as long as he mailed it himself. He absolutely loves it and said it's super comfortable and fits his gun like a glove.
