All Pros for me! I debated over so many different types of bagel slicers from all different styles and prices. I wanted one that was easy to grip, sturdy, and simple to store on my tiny kitchen counter. I don't have enough drawers to store it flat, and my cupboards are full to the brim. I knew I would use it almost every day and I chose the red one to add color to my countertop. This style has one blade that is permanently installed so it needed to be the best one I could buy that would do the job the first time, every time, and absolutely safe to use with little effort. I am delighted with it and can recommend it for all adults. Older Teens that can handle knives safely, will appreciate it. I never buy fresh bagels! I actually prefer them when they aren't squishy soft bread used for sandwiches, and I use a toaster oven, not a 2 or 4 slice type toaster after I slice them. Works great on week old bagels and I like saving money because the store gives huge discounts on them! I've even kept the bagel package frozen (inside a freezer safe bag) and when I want just one, allow it to thaw, pop it in my Black and Decker toaster oven for 30 seconds to remove any dampness and use the slicer. Works fine! Personally, thick bagel are nearly impossible for me to cut with serrated or bread knives because of arthritis in my hands and fingers. Well worth the extra cost and no pain! Cons: If you ONLY like the fresh, huge fat bagels that won't fit in a typical toaster, don't buy this! Negative reviews appear to be from people that only prefer that kind. Avoid sticky buns/bagels that are coated with sugar, I wouldn't recommend using ANY bagel slicer or standard toasters for those! If you prefer that kind please DON'T buy this because this bagel slicer is not meant for them and you would likely be very unhappy. I've had this bagel slicer for several months now and find it perfect! It slices quickly and easily (including thick bagels), is plenty sharp, keeps your fingers safe from accidents and rinses off easily. It seems to be designed well and of good quality. What more can we need in a bagel slicer?

Best product I ordered this year! After the first use, I FaceTimed my son and showed him what a wonderful product it is! And then ordered one for him! I’m glad my bagel guillotine is so safe and easy to use. However, my son just sent me a picture of his well bandage thumb he cut within a few minutes of using the new mandolin he ordered. I think this bagel slicer is just what he needs to stay safe, it seems pretty much fool proof. It seems heavy duty it slices my midsize bagels wonderfully, and they’re still room to slice an even bigger one and cleans up very easy. It is fun to slice my morning bagel now not terrifying.

Absolute beast of a tool! This thing is worth twice the price. Easy to use, and built in a way that lets you know it'll probably last years. I hardly ever write a review, but if I can help bring this awesome thing into your life, then I have done my job.

Does it slice bagels? Yes. Does it crush bagels? Also, yes. Fresh bagels will perk back up but don't expect a seamless cutting experience. It is a good size for even large bagels. It is pretty solid, not concerned about durability. It'll do.

Good device for the kitchen. If you have ever sliced a bagel with a knife you know how difficult and dangerous it can be. This slicer makes it easy and safe. The design is excellent and the cut quality is perfect. I have also used it to slice frozen hoagie buns.

The bagel cutter works very well. It cuts through the bagel like it was a sick of butter. The blade stays be clean.

いつも自分でベーグルを焼くので、切るのがとても面倒だったので少し高かったが、amazonでホワイトが破格値（他が馬鹿みたいに高い）の￥2000だったので、購入！我が家のベーグルにジャストサイズで、綺麗に簡単に安全にスライス出来ました。厚さが合わないと入らなかったり、片寄ったりしますが一般的なサイズのベーグルならば、問題なく使用出来ると思います。ベーグルサンドを作るのが楽しくなりました。
