The BAOFENG Microphone Police Walkie Talkie Mic is an excellent accessory for my UV-5R BF ham radio! The sound quality is clear and loud, making communication much easier. These are nice additions to an HT. It's nice that Baofeng added a headphone jack at the bottom of the mic. However, it would have been nice if they (Baofeng) would have included up/down buttons along the top to be able to change memory channels or tune the VFO in frequency mode. Besides those couple gripes, these are nice accessories.

Works well while driving.

Great for winter when gloves make it hard to hit the sweet spot on the radio broadcast button. These allow you to hit the button anywhere and broadcast. Nice to have the speaker closer to your ear. Never had a problem with these. Weather did not affect but sealing connection with silicone seems a smart move.

Good product for price and use. Lost two stars because one of the mics doesn’t work. Right out of the box, when plugged in, 1 did not work.

For ten dollars, received 2 of these handset/mics. Best accessory I have ever got for my baofeng gt3. The audio volume output now seems significantly louder and clearer than when using just the stock radio output speaker alone. The cord is pretty much exactly the length you would expect when clipping the radio to your waistline, and reaching the handheld mic/speaker to your face or shoulder. It’s very lightweight. Haven’t even tried the earphone jack yet, but looks promising. For five bucks each, I am very happy. Note: on the GT3, just make sure you push the connector jack all the way into the radio. Once I did that, the connection was very solid and it worked better than expected.

I'm using a Baofeng UV-5R with these Handheld Remote Speaker/Microphones and I must say that the price is right; but, as they say: "You get what we pay for". Unfortunately, the wiring for the speaker and the ground is incorrect for the UV-5R and must be modified to work properly. Also, the speaker is loose in the enclosure and rattles when the Remote Speaker/Microphone moves. Better glue must be used the keep the speaker in place. Finally, the Remote Speaker/Microphones work as expected after the above correction were implemented.
