This helmet has two reinforced protective layers. The external cap is made from strong ABS material, which is covered by a supporting EPS outer shell for dual protection. The helmet fully complies with EN 1077 standards. There's more than meets the eye with the Lucky Bums Snow Sports Helmet. Inside, the internal fabric lining and ear padding are hypoallergenic, while the ESP inner shell features multi-port with mesh screens to allow for ample airflow. In addition to being vented and hypoallergenic, this helmet is comfortable to wear all day long. Its padded chin strap and integrated goggle loop enhance comfort and function. Comfortable, solid, inexpensive helmet
I hate helmets but every so often I ski spots where it's smarter to wear one than go without. That said, this is fairly awesome for a cheap helmet. The name is a bit ridiculous (Lucky Bums???) but the helmet fits well and seems well made. I knocked off one star because the rear fit adjuster really needs to have more padding to cover the plastic parts. It tends to dig into your scalp a bit. I'll probably figure a way to add a bigger piece of padding via velcro. I'd also guess that a helmet liner would help but would probably make it too hot to wear in spring. And finally, it fits a bit low in front so you may find yourself wishing for a narrower pair of goggles.

Not bad for the price, but don't expect extreme comfort.
The helmet works. It isn't incredibly comfortable, but I found if you loosened the back up all the way it doesn't dig into your neck as much. It's hard to beat for the price. I found my motorcycle helmets much more comfortable. I ordered a medium and usually where a small/medium for the motorcycle. I did find the snap for the goggles to be quite good and the chinstrap snap to work well. There is a little cloth piece that's supposed to protect your neck from the strap, which didn't seem to stay in place too well. Not bad for the price.

I barely notice I have a helmet on
I wasn't sure if this would fit me as I saw a lot of comments about the sizing being off. I followed the advice from others and bought one size bigger than specified by my head size. It was the right move as this helmet fits nicely. I wore a helmet skiing for the first time ever last weekend. I really thought I'd hate wearing one, but I barely noticed it was on. This helmet was super comfortable and very warm. I didn't need to wear anything under it. I love that my ears finally stay warm too! I would recommend to anyone to buy this.

Poor Fitment - You can do better keep browsing
The strap that goes around back of the head actually cuts my sons neck. When skiing for the day, also fitment is poor, ear coverage is poor too, you can spend the same or a little more and improve with proper ear warmth and snugger fitment. Wouldn’t buy again, I have two and really don’t like them. Didn’t get much use out of them this year 2019 New England. Probably buy others next year.

Helmet fit well, and was easily adjustable.Nice looking, got a compliment on it first time using.my wife's helmet saved her head from hitting ground a couple times, so it did it's job!

skis
it was my first time buying from amazon, i bought these for my 16 month old grandson for x-mas, the only problem was that on the site it said skis and helmet,they sent me the first pair with no helmet so i returned it and they sent a 2nd pair but still no helmet so i e-mailed them and they said they would give me a credit because there was no helmet. I kept the skis because i think it will be a good beginner ski for him, and the price was great!great buy , fast delivery. will buy from this site again for sure.

protect the noggin
It is perfect helmet for my intermediate skiing needs. Very comfortable and kept my head warm. The only negative was the chin pad doesn't stay in place very well but it wasn't that big a deal. I am happy with the purchase.

Missing chin sponge strap
It was missing the chin spongy strap which made wearing it rather uncomfortable, like being strangulated. I purchased the silver one which came with the chin strap and its fitting was definitely more comfortable. Wonder if seller can just ship the missing sponge strap.
