This detangling brush is fantastic, especially for curly hair! It is easy to detangle and glide through the hair with or without the clip in the brush. It was a bit expensive for what it is, but worth it. I don't recommend it for brushing in products or as a curling brush, but I have other brushes I use for that. It is comfortable to hold and grip, and is not too heavy. I usually use it without the clip on dry hair before shampooing and then use it to further detangle once my hair is wet.

The quality of the brush is great, but the definition is not. It can definitely detangle my hair, but it does not define my waves and I have to use another brush for this. I am going to go ahead and return, since I would like to use my styling brush to detangle as well.

This brush is great on my daughter’s curly hair. We use it when her hair is wet, with a leave-in conditioner and it does a great job of getting tangles out while maintaining her curl pattern without pulling.

This brush is really good and I use it on both my daughters and they don’t seem to cry as much when I brush their hair

I used my "slippiest" conditioner and detangler; unfortunately, the brush just stuck in my shoulder-length 3C/4A curls. I tried it with and without the lock to no avail. I am returning it.
