GenExhaust Universal generator exhaust system double layer wall attachment for 1" ID steel flex tubing

Great product. I built a generator room in my detached garage and was looking for a way to run the exhaust outside. Done a search for portable generator exhaust on Amazon and came across this item. So glad I did. It’s made of good quality material and craftsmanship. Worked perfect for what I was doing. In my case I had to pass through an 8” block wall. I put a 2” sleeve through the wall, then installed the exhaust pipe through the sleeve. (You don’t necessarily need a sleeve in a block wall but I think it made for a better installation). I also built a generator room for my neighbor in her detached shed. In her case the exhaust pipe had to pass through a wood stud wall with vinyl siding on the exterior. I installed a 2” sleeve over the exhaust pipe for more air circulation around the exhaust pipe since I was dealing with flammable materials. The tail pipe already has an outer sleeve welded on it from the manufacturer but as added insurance I add the 2” sleeve. Worked great and looks great. (I did caulk the gap between the wood and vinyl siding in the photo). I would highly recommend this product.

Works with the WGEN11500TFc Generator and a one inch exhaust extention ment for a Firman Generator.

Awesome muffler mod for my generator shed project. A bit pricey but well made So if you don’t mind spending a couple of dollars to get your project looking nice and professional then definitely buy this

Used this on installation of a DUROMAX XP13000HXT tri-fuel generator for one of our customers.

Although not a muffler, this exhaust system routes the majority of the exhaust noise outside my pole barn and is quiet enough that the generator noise is "only a hum" with the pole barn door closed, even when standing 10-15' away from the exhaust port. The parts are made well, sturdy, and the welds appear to be high quality. If there was one criticism, it's that the angled cut on the exhaust pipe makes it difficult to add an extension, if it's needed (like to route the exhaust up to the roof, outside the building). I'd much prefer a shallower angle, more like 10-15 degrees, which would still prevent rain from entering the exhaust, but provide more "pipe to connect an extension"....

Even with 6 inch walls, this is the way to go for back up generators with 1 inch exhaust

I ordered 1 of these to see if it would suit my needs. When it arrived I was impressed with the metal work and the ease of installation through a shed wall. I had 1 issue with the shipping. The box came with a tear. In transit one of the straps for the inside wall was missing from the tear. I contacted the seller and let him know that I needed another strap due to the shipping situation. I have 2 gensets for my property so I ordered a second unit. He shipped me an extra strap with the second order. These work as advertised. My generators stay dry and the exhaust is vented to the outside. I recommend this product to anyone looking for a sheltered motor where venting the exhaust is needed.
