Make sure you attach it all together securely, then it should be perfect like mine.
I used this product for a tile that was decorated in Mexico for us, as it was of strange dimensions I could never find anything suitable to hang it with , unyltil I found this hanger which is absolutely perfect, I would definitely recommend it it is great for unusual sizes.

Hard to get on at first but is holding the plate very nicely. Very easy to hang.
