Works a charm, I keep non mountable things like some switches and RPi in there. All good.

Currently using this to support the back of my 4U NAS as the minimum rail size available was too long and too expensive. No signs of sag after 3 months despite the server weighing a lot.

It's a shelf for a rack made of 1.5mm steel which is powder coated. Seems sturdy enough, not easy to bend by hand, and as long as you're not overloading the shelf it shouldn't deform over time. Currently using it in a half depth rack to support a NVR / 8 port switch with no issues. Be aware that this does not include the mounting cage nuts and screws.

Bought this to fit on bottom of 6u rack, where I could shove cables from the units above. It’s heavy and certainly robust, being well ventilated but I wish the holes had been a little bit bigger to push cables through easily.

Pretty much as you'd expect. Strong steel plate. Well formed and holes/slits are a welcome addition for mounting. Powder coating leaves a nice finish and for less than £13 posted - can't really go wrong!

As per other comments and feedback, I ordered 2 of these and both of them were slightly bent on the frames that you’d attach to your cabinet. Was relatively easy to bend it back to a suitable position using a sock and pliers. Knocked off 2 stars for the consistent damage (I ordered 2, both damaged... this is not coincidental given the other reviews). Still, that being said, if I needed more I would but again given the price.

Works exactly like advertised. Precise fit for 19" rails.

This shelf mounts in a 1 U space in a 19" standard rack, and can carry the weight of normal 1 U equipment (albeit not servers or other unusually heavy items). The shelf is equipped with numerous holes for different types of equipment, but of course there can always be pieces of equipment that do not fit any of the provided hole sets. In this case, it is not too difficult to add the necessary holes with a small drill press. This shelf does not have folded edges either at its front or rear, so the amount of weight it can carry is limited, but at the same time this means that the 1.7 mm thick metal is thin enough to fit between two adjacent rack-mounted pieces of equipment without wasting a 1 U slot just because of the shelf thickness. The shelf is 24.2 cm deep and can contain moderately deep pieces of equipment up to 44 cm wide.
