This is very high quality product, no doubt about that. I am using it with Pulsar super Glide and the feel is really good! The main drawback imo is that this is clearly overpriced. Is it a good mat? Yes. Is it so much better than competition that the price is justified? No. It feels a bit more sliding than my Goliathus, but it's not like "something else". Also (despite the product photo saying only Shidenkai is glass coated) i read all the Artisan mats are glass coated. That would explain, but the fact is if you have sweaty hands it will probably not please you. I noticed the little finger staying on the mate tend to become damp after a while. And i am not especially sweaty and it was never like this with my previous mates. In terms of design, it is not particularly charming. That's more your generic cheap design with only two colors. In the 30 ish USD i would say this is the best mat i had. At the current level of price, meew...
