Well worth it
We bought this at the same time as many other health related items. Worked right out of the box. Very accurate and easy to use.

USA company
At least the Amplim company is located in USA. Works better, more consistently, than another generic type I bought. The readings mean something when there aren’t wide variations for no reason. I guess the under tongue thermometer is best though in this price range. I never doubted a standard thermometer, which also saves a lot of time and unnecessary dwelling, rechecking, is this right or wrong, and you still don’t know for sure. Standard thermometer is better, read it, done. Only you have to sterilize it.

Reading is somewhat higher compared to other thermometers!
I get 1 to 2 degrees higher in reading compared to other thermometers that I had. That means, it could be showing wrong/inaccurate readings. I used two thermometers for comparison, and this one still showed my child has a fever when he wasn't even warm anymore! Not reliable! Will return!

It reads the temp very fast.
We like it so much that when our first one gave our (dropped one too many times) we ordered it again, and it’s very easy to use.
