Carhartt Men's Moisture Wicking Fast Dry Ashland Cap

I have a large head that ,is hard to find a hat that fits right. I have definitely found the best hat for me…. I also have to mention the quality of the carhardt hat! This is seventh hat I have bought and, I will be happy to buy more in the near future. Recommend the hat to any guy that loves a deep fitting hat ! Not to count that it’s the most comfortable wearing hat I’ve ever worn! The warmth, shape retention, adjustability and thickness are next to none!!!

Update: I ordered blue and brown. Both lasted me a year and were still going strong. I had crushed them and ended up tossing them. No other hat holds sweat like these do. They are also very water resistant. I love these hats. If u sweat too much like me. A bandana underneath is nice. Having the SnapBack comes in handy for that. Fits like a NewEra MLB Hat. I keep thinking of one of the other reviews that says you will look like you are on Bonanza with a cowboy hat! Bahahaha. It is true at first. When you bend the brim a little or start wearing it. The front starts to round out like your head. They are very comfortable and the inside sweatband liner is tight to your forehead to catch sweat. The logo looks a little small to me, I am a brand whore and like my logos big. It does have the carhart logo so I can’t complain. These fit like a 5950 new era baseball hat. I normally wear a 7 3/8 to 7 1/2 in new era. They keep my head warm also. I like the canvas material they are made of. They arrived in a box and were not squished. They have the authentic tags and look legit. I would purchase again. I got the Black and Carhartt brown. They both look sweet.

I have been buying this hat for a couple years now. I've had about 5-6 of them. I just ordered a fresh one and it is noticeably smaller. I liked this hat because it fits great on a large head. I usually can close about 4 holes on the snapback. The new on, aside from just fitting tighter and looking smaller on my head, only lets me close the last hole on the snapback (and it still barely fits). I'm not happy about this change. It was a great fit for us big heads but now I'm going to have to change brands if this is how they keep it.

Great hat though easily sweat stained. The moisture wicking mentioned only applies to the hat band. The material seems like Carhartt’s typical nice heavy duck fabric. I’m ordering my 6th hat in this model because I love it and made the mistake recently of wearing my nice one for an afternoon of outside work. As you maybe can see from the photos though, between the brim and where the rest of the hat starts it stained. Sweat stains it after a little hot outside work. That’s the biggest drawback. For that reason I maintain a nice hat which I try to keep sweat free and my backup work hats which are the ones that got sweat stained. It might not be noticeable on the other colors but why does it do that? Others probably wouldn’t notice but I do every time I pick it up. Where is my wicking!? It is big and for me, I like the flat brim oversized style. According to a hat size chart, my hat size is in the large range. The hat still looks kinda large on my head.

Bought this for my boyfriend and it looks so great on him! The quality, shape, adjustability and the color are great but he thinks he looks silly so he doesn’t wear it often which is dumb.

I’ve worn hats my entire life. I’ve been buying them for over 20 years now. Not once have I bought a hat that’s been big on my head. Let alone make it seem like I have the head of an infant. I’m very distraught by this hat. It seemed like it was gonna be THEE hat for me until I wore it. If you buy hats and have to get a larger hat for your dome... don’t buy this. This hat is made for a giants head. Not a normal human being. Let alone a human with a big head such as myself. With that said, it is comfortable and my brother in law liked it. Thus it would be giftable. Although, even when he wore it, it was way too big for him. He’s 6’5” with a massive head. Lol The material feels good. If I end up wearing this hat to work I’ll update this on durability. Otherwise, I’ve deemed this my out and about hat.

Solid quality hat

Should have an option to rate NO STARS! Used to love these hats, durable in tough conditions but have bought 2 in the past month and BOTH snapped in the back from the same spot. First one I thought was a fluke and was willing to replace but back to back??? To top that off the bill was falling off the second one after a week of wearing. Must be manufacturing with cheaper materials these days. Disappointed more than anything. Men know it’s hard to find that perfect hat and this was mine for 7+ years but I’m not paying for a new one every few weeks.
