SPANX Oncore Tummy Control Mid-Thigh Compression Bodysuit Shapewear For Women

This thing has saved my life more times than I can count! I wore it under a dress that I wore for a summer wedding and it was so comfortable ALL day in the hot heat. It was airy enough that I wasn't dying of the heat, but it was comfortable enough and thick enough that I felt sucked in still. It sucked in all of the right places, including my chest. I wouldn't have needed a bra if I were a little bit smaller-chested... I'm a 32 D though so I can never wear anything without a bra. The "bathroom hole" (as I like to call it) was great too! Never had to worry about completely undressing in a public bathroom stall, or worse, holding it until I got home! I could just go whenever nature called. Haha. If I HAD to pick one critique, it would be that the legs don't do anything for sucking anything in. They're great because the length allows them to not ride up when you're walking or sitting, but definitely don't do anything to suck in or cover cellulite if you have it (and I do). Anyway, I ordered the Medium size after a LOT of back and forth decisions between Small and Medium and I'm SO, SO happy I went with the bigger size because it is EXTREMELY tight, which is what I wanted, but I don't think I would have been able to get the small on! I am 5'6" and I weight 145 pounds to give you some sizing reference.

I decided to write a review for this product, even though the price shot up since I bought mine (and I thought it was darn expensive at $78) but hopefully, the price will go back down to something decent soon so I can buy more. This bodysuit is hands down, one of the best purchases I think I've ever made; not just because it's the devil's magic, but also because the CONFIDENCE that it gives you is just phenomenal.The suit looks incredibly small out of the package, but it'll accommodate a LOT. The feeling of compression is not terrible and I could wear it all day without passing out...however, I wouldn't say that using the bathroom for #1 in these is going to be without difficulty...#2 is out of the question. Also, the top offers no support, so if you are naturally endowed and wear it without a bra underneath you'll be jiggling a bit.Since it makes everything taut and flat, it'll definitely shave a few dress-sizes off, but it's indiscriminate and pulls in everything, so it pulled in my tummy AND my butt...which is possibly the only downside to this bodysuit (but it's not a big deal since I have more than enough). So given that the compression happens all over your torso, if you're already small in the rear, it'll take that all away and leave you flat and that may not be the look you are going for.Despite all that, I still think I love it. It smooths and sucked me in so much that it felt like the body under my clothes was false advertising :)

Spanx is a bit more expensive and that is the reason I had never purchased their bodysuit before. I've had other body shapers (less expensive) that have never fit quite right (the seams sat just on my thighs which is the area I am always trying to smooth and they always flattened my derriere too much, giving it an unnatural look). This one has every single feature I needed. The fit is impeccable and the fabric shapes my body in all the right areas without constricting (which I hate because I feel trapped inside the garment). I followed the guidelines of their size chart and I'm so glad I did because I would've ordered a size too small. I ordered a large and it fits perfectly! It shapes and slims everything without so much as a seam showing because it is totally seamless and yet there are strategic panels everywhere. I purchased it to wear under a beautiful dress for a wedding that had a very unforgiving type of fabric that even a supermodel would've never been able to wear without Spanx. If you have fuller breasts I'd recommend using pads or a bra underneath. For me it was perfect because my breasts are on the smaller side. This garment is now my secret weapon for certain dresses and the best investment I have made even though I paid a pretty penny for it. But in this case quality is worth the money. I am more than pleased!!!

I weigh about 140 lbs and 5 ft 4 inches. I wasn't sure if I had to order large or medium and on instinct can chose medium. I am glad I did! I forget that I have it on most of the times. It doesn't really flatten anything but just holds jiggly bits together. Honestly, my problem area is a little bit of lower belly and thighs. If I wear fitting dresses it does show a tiny little pot belly. Extremely comfortable to wear but doesn't really do too much if your body type is like mine. I am overall happy with it although I sometimes wonder why did I have to buy a body suit with shorts. It does nothing to my thighs other than annoyingly riding up making me have funny looking thighs under my dress if I am not careful to pull it down. I obviously cannot do it all the time! Only reason I chose this over the regular shorts or tanks is because they tend to roll up or down on me. This solved that problem but introduced a new one! My suggestion for the girls with hourglass figure is to understand your problem area and they figure out which one works the best for you.

first pair of spans in awhile at my current size- i'm 5'4 175 pounds, 38 DDD. Usually wear a 12 pant andProbably could've gotten away with a large but ordered and xl. Great tummy support- was able to zip up a skirt that previously had a 3 inch gap. No butt support but has mentioned that's because they don't want to give you a uni-bootie. No bust support but I really wanted a full coverage so it wouldn't roll down and am obviously pretty busty so planned on wearing a bra anyhow. I put on a pair of my old spanx shorts over these for extra butt compression and that worked great- plus the over shorts weren't hard to get off because they slid smoothly over the under pair of spanx- so should be easy to go to the bathroom with that strategy. Otherwise I haven't tried to pee with the split crouch yet so I'm not sure how that's going to go
