Good Day and thank you for the opportunity to write a review. I think the cards are a great tool for individuals trying to learn the language. Unfortunately for me I don't have time to learn the language before I depart in a few days. I will be traveling to China again after this trip so I will use the cards to begin learning the language for future trips. The only suggestion I have is that you add terms or cards for travelers such as: Hospital, Restaurants, Shopping, Starbucks :), Taxi, Hotel, ATM, Train, Airport, Embassy etc. Thank you and I look forward to using this product in the future.

It's a nice set of flashcards. The majority of the cards contain common words, with the word used in a sentence at the bottom. One side is English, the other Mandarin. They come in a nice case, and make for a nice set. Oddly, there are several common American or Western expressions at the back on red cards (ex: "When in Rome, do as the Romans do"), though the inclusion of these is baffling. No idea what the point of learning to translate those would be, as I can't see them as being anything but confusing to a foreign audience.

The pinyin pronunciation card in this deck is exactly I've been looking for. You know the apps are great and all but they don't really help that much with learning how to pronounce correctly and there's no alphabet to refer to. This chart helps a lot with pronuncing C,Q,X,Z etc. Thank you!

They were very clear, and easy to use and had a good vocabulary. They werer for our 6 yr old grandson, (he is learning Mandarin in school, and started using them right away.
