Excellent all round footware
I've trained barefoot for over a decade and wanted a versatile barefoot shoe for work when it's too hot for boots. The fit is nice and wide and the sole is very grippy without sacrificing feel.I liked them so much I bought a pair of vapor glove 4s for the gym.My only complaint is that the toe box (where the sole comes up over the toes) feels slightly too large for workouts. The leather is lovely and soft yet robust enough to take an impromptu run or hike when required.

Great fit for medium width feet
These are great for school shoes for my son and daughter, my daughter had very narrow feet and these fit perfectly, my son is slightly wider in the foot and they are a bit tight to start but eventually stretch out. They're very comfortable with being flat and thin soled with a wide toe box and they look smart for school.

The Canvas Ones are More Comfortable...!.
The Canvas Ones are More Comfortable than these...there tends tobe a build of pressure over the EXTENSOR DIGITORIUM (had to google that) of the foot that the canvas version do not have...these would offer more impact protection (relatively) but canvas for me...have 2 pairs canvas...These do look great in blue.I think this shoe concept was borrowed from kung-fu shoes as back in the day I wore £10 kung-fu shoes outside, and it was much the same road feel as these...There is someting about these shoes that gets the mind going while walking...you feel totally connected to the earth with the simple removal of the midsole.I see why I loved a certain pair of hi-tec hiking boots as they were much the same..that magnetic connection to terra firma with footfall.Overpriced if you factor in made in Vietnam..in all likelyhood £5 to make - but priceless in how they work your legs and mind...haha ! So yes, they have a bit of a monopoloy with this shoe model.Has anyone noticed how shoe sellers now vary the price between sizes..ridiculous !...it's the latest scam that should not be allowed...flat price over all sizes as it was in the past....So back these leather ones went, and I now am happy with 2 sets of the canvas model Merrell barefoot shoes....far more flexible on top of the foot.Vapor Glove 3 = ROCK !

Great Barefoot Shoe nearly as good as Original Trail Glove
Just purchased two pairs of these - they are the nearest thing to the original Trail Gloves as i have found. For some reason Merrell have seen fit to make many of the barefoot shoes with thicker soles and less flexibility and ground feel - this detracts from the whole point of the shoes. I have several pairs of the original Trail gloves which are all at the point of wearing out I wear them for running but also as my casual footwear for 99% of the time and was despairing of getting replacements. I have bought Vapor Glove 4's and Trail Glove 4's and find them both too far from the barefoot ideal. These Luna Vapor Glove 3s are great and I'll wear them for casual. It remains to be seen whether they are suitable for running as the leather I think may prove to hot. I don't understand why Merrell can't produce a fabric mesh version of this shoe as well.

Very Poor grip
The shoes are good, wide toe box, no heel and somewhat durable. However, they have very little grip on wet surfaces, especially if these surfaces are hard/smooth (e.g stone, metal).I tried to cycle my bike with these on in the wet and I had to go back and change my shoes because they just slipped off the pedals.I think Merrell really needs to address this problem as I've never worn a shoe with such bad grip, it verges in dangerous.

Spacious and comfy
Bought to replace my thoroughly worn out Merrell Road Gloves, these have a similarly capacious toe box and minimal stack height.I wear them inside and out -- in fact, I pretty much live in them -- and I love their slipper-like comfort.Though I wear them for casual use, not running, I'm sure they'd be as good for running as my old Road Gloves if I were so inclined.I expect the usual Merrell durability. I've owned a few pairs and all lasted really well. Nothing ever came unglued or unstitched, and worn soles were the only reason I retired them.

Great shoes but not right for me.
I do like Merrell shoes. Always look at them first, they're comfy and fit great. The new styles have gone down hill a bit though. This is the first vapour glove I've had. Good quality shoes, but the material is quite thin.My main disappointment with these was that my usual size was just too long. I was tripping over my feet in them, so I might have to look at a size smaller. They are narrow but loosening the laces and opening them up a bit will help.

Completely comfortable to wear .
Been wearing it like everyday since I bought it some eight months ago. No sign of depreciation so far. The soul is sturdy. It is lightweight yet appropriately well cushioned.
