Efficient, lightweight and easy to use
I have just used this machine for the second time after buying it. Having having thought for ages that I could mow the lawns myself, after years of having a gardener to do it I decided to buy this machine. I did the usual online research and this one came out well. The last time I mowed the lawns was over ten years ago using an old Hayter Harrier 48. Some of the reviews said that this machine is heavy, well not in comparison to the old Hayter. This machine is a joy to use. It's easy to start, the handle height is easy to adjust as is the cutting height. It copes well with fairly long and wet grass and is easy to manoeuvre. My only complaint, and this is why it only has four stars instead of five, is that the cable at 10 metres long is too short. Having said that for my garden which is odd shaped, even 20 metres would not have been long enough. I would have no hesitation in recommending this machine. If I remember, I may well do an update on this review in a few months time to see how the machine holds up over a longer period, but at present, as a 71 year old woman for me it's great. I’ve just come across this review from 2018. I moved into rented accommodation for two years during Covid, and have at last moved into my new home. I used the lawn mower yesterday after three years of not having used it, and it started first time. I think that’s pretty good going, bearing in mind it sat in a slightly dusty and not entirely dry shed for the past three years. I definitely recommend this machine. Brilliant!

Excellent mower, but ridiculously short cable
Grass box fits easily, height adjustment is easy it is quieter than my previous (1984 vintage) electric mower and much more effective. It is also much lighter and can be lifted with one hand. Downsides - the 10m cable, shurely no sensible person would expect a customer to buy a big lawn mower for a lawn that could all be mown at a maximum distance of 10m from a socket. The grass box full indicator does not seem to work for damp grass or leaves. I would have given it full marks if the cable had been a sensible length.

Chomps through the grass
Bought this mower for a medium to large lawn. Quick and easy to assemble. Did a first cut of the year a couple of weeks ago and it chomped through some damp, quite long grass when on its highest setting. We like the large number of height settings which are easy to change. Grass box holds a lot, though quite heavy when full. Handle has a useful adjustment and folds easily for storage. Some people have complained that the cable isn't very long, but that's easily sorted with an extension reel.

Surprisingly disappointing
I bought this mower to replace a previous version of the same, which had given many years of sterling service. However, surprisingly disappointingly, the AdvancedRotak 750 has a number of points I am unhappy with. The first is that it only likes cutting short grass, otherwise the grass doesn’t fill the grass bag (not a box like the old one), nor fills it as successfully as the old one, it piles up at the front. Then, taking the bag off to push the grass to the back allows the bottom of the collector to collapse, pushing the grass out! The collector requires a strut at the back to maintain its shape. The little ‘full’ window is nothing more than a gimmicky plastic flap that appears to work by suction, or when the collector is full – it doesn’t. Not needed. The mechanism for folding out the handle-bars works well – until you try to pull them out to their fullest extent. They won’t! Because the braided electric cord is too short, and only locks at the lowest position. Just as well I’m a short-ar**! The braided cord needs lengthening. As it happens, I can live with all these issues. What I am having difficulty living with is the shorter mains lead (than the previous model). I have to use an extension lead anyway, but the reel could remain on the path at the side of the lawn when I am at the far side, now the machine drags the reel onto the lawn, too far to make for comfortable mowing. The mains lead needs to be longer. The collection bag simply hooks on, although some buyers seem to have difficulty with this!? Mowing height adjustment is also easy enough. There is a cover to replace the collection bag if you want to return clippings to the lawn as a mulch. It doesn’t come with the machine, although a part order number is included in the picture guidance. The spare parts internet address appears to be www.bosch-pt.com. Changing the blade is as straight forward as the older model. No problem. Personally, I find this machine has some drawbacks, compared with the older model, although it still cuts the grass well. Unfortunately, on the older one, I burnt the motor out, after all those many years.

Best electric mower
Out of all the electric mowers I’ve used, I rate the Bosch 10/10. Firstly, grass even when slightly wet doesn’t get stuck under the mower, wheels or the collection bag. Secondly it’s super quiet compared to most mowers and cuts through the lawn without any challenges, collects leaves as described without shredding them. It’s ready to use out of the box and stripes really well! Height adjustment for cutting height is easy and you can adjust the handle height too. I wouldn’t touch any other mower now!

very useful mower
I now have a petrol Toro mower and the slightly smaller Bosch. The Bosch was bought because I wanted to reduce the Carbon footprint of regularly mowing my 100 square meter lawn. (I have a renewables tariff). I found it light and easy to use and will primarily use it for mulching. I cut a bit lower than the recommended height by Bosch for mulching but I expect tools such as this to make a good effort. The mower gets 4 stars because the grass was not finely cut enough and the mower left some small clumps and trails of grass on the lawn. However even dedicated mulching petrol mowers do that with the exception of the Toro (the red mower in the picture) , But do you want to pay 3 times the price? I think not. It takes 5 minutes to deal with clippings on a 100 m2 lawn. Take a wire lawn rake, turn it upside down and swish it across the grass. Result clippings knocked down and perfect looking lawn. I expect the mower to perform well on bagging and I will come back later on that at the end of the season. I am pleased with the performance of this mower and it's very quiet so can be used at any time (I need ear defenders with the Toro). I look forward to the day when we can get a hydrogen conversion kit for the Toro but the Bosch will do very nicely. It also cuts closer to the edge of a wall than the Toro and is easier to get into narrower parts like arches. The mulching attachment has to be ordered separately (it is a Bosch part) and I think this is a bit greedy of them. So will it mulch adequately, yes but do a little extra work as above or just cut more often. Do I recommend this mower, yes I like it very much.

Bosch electric mower
The quality build for this mower is obvious. It is really well made. The height settings are easier to use than my earlier Bosch model, the collection container is superior and the power cable plug enters the machine in the centre of the handle instead of the awkward side, which is a nice touch. It also detaches entirely for separate storage. It's these little points that make it a great machine to use. Downsides? Maybe, a little too heavy to manoeuvre for some ladies and I concur with earlier reports that the power cable could be longer. However, even this is of superior quality.
