Perfect for under eves installation.
All I could find at the big box and hardware stores were vent hoods for mounting on vertical walls. Found this on Amazon and it mounts in the orientation I needed, quickly & easily.

Good Quality
Was tough to find something like this that wasn't flimsy plastic with a flap that doesn't close properly. This one fit the bill but time will tell if the plastic breaks down or bends in the sunlight. I will say that it did not close perfectly when I first installed it which I determined was due to over tightening the mounting screws, causing it to get slight out of square at the flap seat. A little trial and error was required to find the sweet spot. Wind can still tend to cause it to open a bit so I may at a weight to it to try to suppress that a bit.

Product is cheaply made
Several weeks after installation I noticed the flapper door was wide open. The bottom line is: The flapper door is too thin and flimsy and the dryer heat will warp the door and it will not close!

I think this would be ok. I installed it but couldn't get the 4" mylar duct to fit on. It measures a bit over 4 1/8" in diameter. It should be 4" diameter to be useful.

Soffit Dryer Exhaust
Love the product. I used a 4.5” hole saw to cut my hole. It works as designed.
