We have owned a small computer repair business for over 20 years, and you would probably think that we would have bought one of these for inventory and sales purposes years ago, but, we remained very much "old school" for the longest time until I broke down and decided to buy a barcode scanner and I am happy to say that I am VERY glad that I did. This scanner has made quick work of some of our more tedious tasks of inputting data and codes into our POS system as well as the various spreadsheets that we have for other purposes. For the longest time, I tried to keep inventory low enough that we did not need to buy a scanner like this, but, as is usually the case, business expanded to the point where keeping track of the vast inventory we truly had was more than could be managed the old way, and this scanner helped do the job perfectly. No drivers were needed, simple plug and play. If anyone is looking for a barcode scanner, we would highly recommend this as a truly viable and affordable option that works.

I'm using it at a point of sale. I was initially worried as it came with USB. An OTG connecter is required. 5 stars because I've had it only one week.

Pros of the scanner -Accuracy is really good -Installation is super easy -Length of cord is plenty Cons -Programming the scanner was very difficult and seller did not provide any support even after messaging him multiple times. -The user guide that comes with the scanner is really useless because everything we tried did not work -Built quality is ok -Even though the scanner has very good accuracy it is a bit on the slower side.

I was developing a point of sale system for a candy store, and some shiny wrappers cause problems with certain scanners. I had bought an optical CCD gun style and it mounted on stand. Worked, but sometimes finicky. Decided to try something else. Saw this interesting format one, never used the pedestal style. OH. MY. GOODNESS. This thing ROCKS :) Scans are super fast and accurate, it works soooooooooo much better than the gun I had before. I love this. I'll be always buying these for future builds. I just wish the light would be able to be disabled until it's needed. Not a big deal, the only thing I'd want to change.

Set up this device to scan in drivers' licenses for entry. Works very well

Plug'n play. High quality, super sensitive and works perfect with QR codes and barcodes. Well automatically wake up and read code when it detects movement in front of it. 5 stars!

This scanner does not work with QR codes as the description says. It's otherwise a good scanner if you don't need to scan QRs.
