I was in search of a natural foundation without any harmful cancer causing skin damaging ingredients.. with full coverage, which can be hard to find bc most products that are natural foundations are usually tinted moisturizers offering no coverage... And when I came across this foundation I was thrilled... 100% Pure Cosmetics makes nearly all of their products out of fruit.. That fact alone excited me... So... I went out on a limb and purchased this product.. And I say out on a limb because.. I've never spent any where near $30 on any foundation and I wasn't sure the shade would match.. But..it matched perfectly.. The sad thing about this foundation is that it only comes in six shades... So it's pretty limited... Their darkest shade "Toffee" that is the shade I purchased... And it was perfect for my skin tone.. FYI: I wear a honey beige in Maybelline SuperStay, Classic Tan in CoverGirl and in Revlon it varies I can go from Natural Tan to Toast depending on if I get a lot of sun.. I'm a lighter skinned black woman.. If you go to their website, instead of swatches of shades they actually have people that you can match your skin up with.. and I think that is very cool because it was so easy to pick out my skin tone... So, I would def. check out their website.. but I would purchase it on amazon because it's 2 dollars extra on their site lol... That's why I bought it here. Anyway.. The woman I matched with seemed to be a woman of mixed race.. Just to give you an idea of the shade "Toffee" bc whenever I buy makeup online I always mess up so i hope that info helps someone else : ) I do wish they had darker colors.. I would love for my mom to try it out... But other than that..Incredible product, full coverage... It feels like I have nothing on.. Not heavy at all... Very light... Incredible feel.. Seems to minimize my laugh lines or make them disappear AND MOST OF ALL It's NOT HARMFUL TO YOUR SKIN!!! I LOVE IT! I will Definitely repurchase this as soon as mines runs out!ADDED UPDATE: So I had this product for a week now and one thing that I've noticed is that... Well, if you have oily skin this really doesn't apply to you... But for people with dry skin.. Make sure you have a really good long lasting moisturizer... I wouldn't say this foundation dries your skin out but I think it's more for oily or combination skin.. Initially when you put it on it has a lot of moisture but... within like an hour my skin starts to feel dry again.. So.. I'm looking for a really good moisturizer now to work with this foundation. This may sound weird but I use olive and grape seed oil as a moisturizer on my face it works for me.. No break outs or nothing skin looks much clearer & brighter I'm on this natural kick... Anyway.... I didn't think I could find that much moisture in another product but.. this foundation still manages to get dry when I put it on..Once it dries on your face is has a satin/silk finish... Kinda feels like powder after a while.. which I don't like at all... And also coverage lasts about 6/7 hours.. I'm still in love with this product.. I guess I just need to find a better moisturizer to work with it..

100% Pure is a great brand, but it has the potential to be more. Anybody can try their products. Especially, those who are health conscious and/or interested in clean beauty. They offer many vegan options as well. The only thing is they lack a variety of shades for people of color.

I absolutely love this foundation. It has great coverage (medium, which is amazing for a natural foundation) and stays all day. It applies best with a brush and if you use just a little more than you're used to so it doesn't dry as fast. 100% Pure doesn't use full stems for some reason so I store mine upside down and shake it before using. This keeps my oily skin pretty matte all day (I use Andalou Naturals oil controlling bb cream underneath). This probably isn't good for dry skin - it can stick to flaky dry patches. I still use my high end foundations (Dior, YSL, Nars) when I'm feeling fancy but I honestly usually wish I'd used this instead! For color matching reference - I'm nw10 in MAC and this shade (white peach) is a bit too dark (still wearable though, especially in summer) but it was the first one I bought. I mix a tad with creme to warm up my complexion a bit.

The products offered by 100% Pure are exactly that - pure ingredients with nothing harmful. I have beenusing their products for many years and am completely satisfied with them. It is a good feeling to haveproducts that are safe and do not cause any harm or adverse effects.

I have been using the brand Ilia because of the good ingredients but heard some positive things about 100% Pure so decided to give it a try. The shade is more pasty and lighter than fits my complexion unfortunately and it doesn’t seem to go on quite as smoothly, really have to work at blending in.It was okay, but think I will likely stick with Ilia since the shade matches and it blends easier.

I recently discovered that my beloved Vapour foundation (which lasted for years) is no longer available. Am in need of finding a low toxicity level foundation to replace what had been the perfect foundation (tears streaming as we speak) and this seemed like a fair try. I'm olive with some flushing on my cheeks and need a super neutral, true olive undertone foundation. There is NO "olive undertone" in peach bisque! It's super peachy/red – as the name suggests. On top of that I'm 48 and have had medical treatment which devastated my skin, especially around the mouth and laugh lines. With Vapour the dry aged skin felt barely noticeable, but after applying this foundation my skin seemed to get even dryer and saggier – even though I moisturized before applying. And mind you, I apply a very thin layer of foundation focusing on cheeks and nose. I'm very disappointed in this product. If you're young/have small pores/taught skin and have peach undertones, this might work for you.

The best foundation on the market. I have been in the aesthetics industry over 20 years. It will not clog pores. It really is 100% pure. It's great for every skin type. I always put my clients with acne on it. It's the only makeup thar I've found that will not cause future breakouts. It's great coverage yet looks natural. Who wants to wear chemicals when you have natural options.

This formula has been changed.......titanium dioxide has been added (I believe it's 3rd or 4th ingredient!), my bottle I have now says FIFTEEN PERCENT which is crazy........it burned my skin. I have used this for many years and it is not listed on my older bottles. ( And the next ingredient is Zinc oxide at 10%!!) Amazon please print this, consumers need to know because I'm sure I'm not the only one that has reacted to this.
