Do not buy. This was a decent pump for the price as my previous review. However...
Oct 21,2021 update: So I recently bought 2 more pumps and both times it did not come with the controller (which allows you to turn on and off the pump and adjust the flow rate.) So I thought the seller forgot to include the controllers. I reached out to the seller and here's their response:Hey friend,The smaller pump does not have a controller. The larger pumps still have controller, but only about 17 units are in the Amazon warehouse. We recently sent some larger pump without controller to Amazon, maybe Amazon did not assign you pump with controller.I am sorry to tell you that we will no longer provide controllers in the future, this is the company’s decision, hope you can understand. If you receive the pump without a controller, you can refund.ThanksSo pretty much if you order the pump (large or small) there's a good chance you won't get the controller. What good would that be? They don't even sell the controller separately. And controllers are not universal either. So unless you have the controller before and you only need to replace the pump, go ahead and order. Otherwise if you're looking for a pump for the first time, it will not work without the controller module. Horrible.Original review:This pump performs just as good as the big brands in the market. It is super quiet and powerful. I have it running 24/7 for the last 6 months with no issues. The 10 minute feeding option works perfectly if you need to have the pump off for a short period to feed or other maintenance. If you push the feed button twice, it'll turn off the pump until you depress a third time to turn it on. Simple as that. Not sure why one review said it leaked and he had to use teflon tape. If you use the rubber gasket that it comes with, it seals perfectly with no leakage. (It came with 2 rubber gaskets, one as a spare.) The reviewer probably didn't use the rubber gaskets correctly. Another reviewer said that the pump felt very flimsy with cheap plastic? Considering it will sit in a sump, I did not see it as very flimsy. Not sure what type of plastic the reviewer is expecting. Comparing to the other expensive brands, I don't see much difference in the plastic quality. I have the pump setting at the half way mark at 110. (The range is 100 to 120, or 20 different power settings.) At 110, it's plenty strong for my 80 gallon tank with overflow. Any stronger, and my overflow can't handle that much water. For the price and quality, I'm going to order more for my other tank setups. With the money that you'll save, you can invest in other products for your aquarium. Basically, its a good pump. Why spend the money for something that just pumps water back into your tank.

Great pump except the plastic threads.
The pump works great and is so quiet it can be difficult to tell it is on. Very happy with the pump. The only issue is that the plastic housing, more specifically the threads, are very thin and seemingly fragile. Be careful not to over tighten and to use teflon or PTFE tape.

Noise & slowers water moving after 6 months used
I love pump design small and powerful also very easy to clean. But the reason I have it on 3 because after first 5 months very nice what I expected. But today I hear noises so take out the pond clean up the pump but the same noise after clean and I noted that the water not as strong like before even I set it to max speed 120. I used to set at 101 for my pond 350gl and today at I set at 120 but It can’t pump water out fast enough from filter it is not as fast as before

No longer a good pump! The changed everything.
I previously rated this a great pump. That was then, this is now. I’ve purchased or had clients purchase more than 12 of these pumps. Before they redesigned and dropped the controller that came with this pump it was top notch. However the new version of this pump without controller is awful. It’s strong parts of past have been replaced with cheap parts. It’s strength to pump water has been reduced to half what it used to be and it offers very little lift. If you are going to use as an aquarium return pump, please do not do so. There is no consistency in flow. If you use this in a sump system it will overflow the sump as it can not be counted on to hold and maintain specific levels. And last, they have taken the remote control away. It’s either on or off. No way to set this pump to match your return rate. This is not worth the time, effort, or headache it will cause you.
