Cold water, variety, big bag / very happy with it
Our fish are thriving. Glad we took the leap and bought this big bag versus buying the smaller bags every couple of weeks. This has saved us a lot of time and headache turns out to be cheaper than the long run when you just buy the big bag versus spinning $50 every two weeks or three for the small bags Almost 6 months to a year later and we just realize that this is the winter cold water temp variety so I figured that is something worth mentioning/sharing since we will be paying closer attention. Otherwise our fish are happy and healthy water is clear we will order the Growth. Food variety next spring.

My fish love it. Been using for at least 2 years. Healthy and happy.
This is good food. Doesn't make the water cloudy. It's a good size. Use on goldfish and Koi. No complaints yet from the fish. Seems fresh and everything looks healthy. A good value. Must be doing something right. Smells like dog food. I guess it is nutritious cause I don't really feed them anything else and haven't lost any fish since I been giving them this stuff for the last 2 years.

Good for cooler weather.
I use this in early Spring and late Fall when the water temps in the pond get below 50F. The fish eat it up and seem to be healthy, so I'll keep using it. This is a good size bag for Spring/Fall food -- smaller than the summer food bag because you don't use it as often through the year. I believe the idea is to feed this lower-protein formula in cooler weather as the fish don't need growth food when their growth is slow. And it keeps their digestive system moving and healthy.

My favorite brand for pond fish
Quality food for Koi & Goldfish. I like that they have different size pellets in one bag to accommodate fish of all sizes in my pond.
