I bought 3 different ear plug sets from different brands and these were the best. I am not used to wearing ear plugs often and have recently found more need for them, to dampen neighbor noise while traveling. I have also used foam ear plugs and these are much more comfortable. I tried all 3 sets of ear plugs and did not like the other 2 at all. They didn’t dampen noise as much, and weren’t very comfortable. I would note that all 3 sets were very highly rated in reviews, and the other 2 were the single bud kind, rather than the triple layer like this one. I found this one to be perfectly comfortable for sleeping all night. No ear ache like I get from foam ear plugs. They stayed in all night. These go deeper into the ear canal than the single layer “bud” style plugs, which might seem less comfortable. But these are definitely MORE comfortable. The triple layer also seems to make noise dampening more effective. The whole piece is soft and fits nicely into my ear. Easy to remove and wash clean. They do not mute all sound. I doubt any ear plug could mute all sound, but these dampen enough to make it easier to sleep through hotel neighbor noise. This is what I wanted. The other 2 ear plugs I tried, did not dampen much sound at all. For example, I could still hear the drone of my central AC with them in. However, I could not hear the AC drone with this set of ear plugs. Foam ear plugs work for sound also, but they make my ears ache and tend to pop out during the night. These didn’t budge all night and I didn’t really notice them, other than my awareness that I had put them in. I’m a side sleeper and had zero issue with these. Bottom line: I found these ear plugs to be the most comfortable and effective of all those I tried. I ordered more to have a couple spares. I like to keep extras of particularly good products for when they inevitably get discontinued. Haha

I have an Auditory Processing Disorder and use different sets of ear plugs on and off throughout the day to help with concentration and auditory focus. I was looking for a pair of comfortable, reusable ear plugs to for sleep and these definitely fit the bill. I'm not sure I fully believe the NRR of 40 but they do help block noise from outside or my partner's snoring. I can still hear things like the AC, fan, or other white noise but that is fine by me. I like that they have the "wings" to hold them into the ear so the plugs can't slide too far in and rarely fall out during sleep. Some of the other reviews said the plugs were too big for the wearer's ear and I could definitely see that being the case for someone with small ear canals. I would give them 5 stars of they blocked out more noise but I am definitely satisfied with my purchase.

I bought these to wear at night so I could sleep without hearing the husband snoring. I usually use foam type earplugs but was looking for something reusable. The first time I tried these, they fit well and were comfortable. I could hear my husband walk down the hall. Later I could still hear the snoring. I thought this was a waste. The next day I was helping the husband cut some project wood. I decided to try the ear plugs again. THESE ARE THE STRANGEST EAR PLUGS i HAVE EVER USED! I could hear my husband talking. I could hear the cars driving by. I was nervous when It was time to turn on the saw. These ear plugs worked great! My ears did not hurt to the sound of the cutting. While these may not be good for blocking out sound, they are great for reducing loud sounds and protecting your hearing. My husband said they would be great at a concert.

Earbud quality terrible, very uncomfortable unless you have Cinderella/Cinderello type ear-canals and just based on the feel/type of material even if they fit your ears they just don't seem designed to work at all. That said, this stuff seems to be manufactured in China (see picture with strange/peculiar English grammar; believe their environmental promise at your own discretion not like they offer any proof) despite the amazon page saying: High-Quality Material: Germany environmentally friendly nanoscale silicone material makes it not easy to stick dust.Soft and skin-friendly Very tricky wording but it never actually says German engineered or even the type of material! All they say is that the earbuds are environmentally friendly to Germany.. maybe the German tar pits or outhouse perhaps. Anyway, I don't want to put on a tinfoil hat and say that all the 4-5 star reviews were bought/bots, but my experience has been terrible and hope that you, the reader don't waste your money on this product

The material seems decent, but this does not block out enough noise to go to a concert, for example. A proper drumming brand earplug would be good for concerts. I use them for a noisy fan and the earplugs don't even cover that completely. Amazon has no good earplugs. Vibes is the only good option I have seen on Amazon so far and I don't think those are necessarily sufficient for most applications. Try Ohropax wax earplugs for side-sleeping. Ohropax earplugs are good for the night. A proper drumming brand earplug would be good for concerts.

I have a very petite face and wear child-size glasses, hats, and earbuds. I need hearing protection at times but was never able to shove a gigantic foam or plastic earplug into my itty-bitty ear canal. Anything marketed as adult-sized is a no-go for me. These earplugs are SO soft and petite. They conform to my ear canal, and the additional "shark fin" keeps them secure. I think they give me better noise suppression because they actually fit and stay in place, even when I am sweating mowing the lawn. They are so comfortable, I honestly forget I am wearing them, even after hours of having them in. Additionally, I hated the waste associated with single-use foam earplugs. I love that these can be sanitized and reused indefinitely. Lastly, I like that they look like wireless earbuds. It's much more socially acceptable - for example sitting in a coffee shop - than wearing neon yellow foam plugs. Because they are visible, people understand that I am wearing something in my ears, and they know I can't hear them until I remove them. If I could give these earplugs TEN STARS, I would!

Just received ear plugs. They appear ok but arrived in package that looked totally busted. Hopefully not sent a used/returned item. Would clean anyway, but definitely giving a thorough cleaning before use.

I've tried half a dozen earplugs for riding. Some do a good job for high frequency noise but bad for low frequency, some opposite. Some start to fall out from wind pushing the helmet back, not these! If you have a bike that produces a lot of deep low notes this does a great job of dropping the noise down considerably because of the thick rubber material. For high frequency noises (like wind) it does a good enough job, a scarf around the helmet will help. The design also makes them stay, so when my helmet gets pushed back by wind they dont get loose. Get these if you have an exhaust that produces really low deep notes.
