Grupa MoCarta w Operze

I saw a very short clip of this performance on You Tube and decided to give it a chance. I got much more than I was expecting. These guys are very funny, great musicians with great acting abilities. This is a polish production from 2007 created and performed for polish audiences, so we are at some disadvantage even with the English subtitles. The DVD starts with what appears to be non-related commercials that got me a little confused, but once the actual presentation started it was OK. In terms of staging and technology, it is very simple, but once you listen to their music and see their face expressions, you will be captivated by the group. BTW, their name should be translated to The Mozart Group.The funny pieces are very original, at least I have not seen anything like this before, and enjoyable. My only problem is with the lack of English explanations of the program. If you want a good lough on your classical music, this is a good buy.

I received this DVD and it cannot be operated in the USA, it is incompatible!I AM FURIOUS !!!!!!!!!!!!Needless to say I Opened the package and was looking forward to seeing this group Mozart.It cannot be played and checking the info on the back it says it PAL/16:9which is for the European market!!!!This group just performed in Wenatchee, WA March 6th and they are FANTASTIC.That was the reason I ordered this DVD!!!!!Amazon should advise that this is in PAL format and cannot be played in the USA!!!

I had heard about this group from someone else who had seen them on Youtube, so I was excited to learn that I could get a DVD of their performance. A friend thought that I would not be able to play it on my DVD player, but I had no problem at all. In fact, I'm wondering - is it possible to wear out a DVD? I have played this one so much that we may be finding out the answer to that question.

I love this DVD. While it does not play in a DVD player, it will play on a computer. It isn't ideal, but if you are able to watch movies on your computer, it is well worth watching.

The four Polish musicians of the MozArt Group are extremely talented. Their show is full of imagination and good music and it will make you laugh from start to finish. And when it's over, you'll want to check out more of their shows and listen to Mozart ;-)

It was even better as I thought it would be. I really like the combination of cabaret and classical music.

Speeches in Polish! but otherwise very entertaining.
