Perfect if you don't want to eat microplastics

I’ve found this perfect for taking food that needs to be heated up at the office. Doesn’t leak and the glass inside is kept safe. The outside container doesn’t heat up so easy to handle after being in the microwave. The glass is quite robust even though it looks fragile. If you’re on the fence go for it.

Good quality. Leak proof so far. Look awesome with my salad bowls and creative lunches. Only downside is the glass …. Although, I prefer to use instead of plastic I just wonder how long it will last.

I bought this as a treat to replace some stained tupperware & the nagging concern that if food could soak into plastic then plastic could be absorbed by food. I commute normally by train & bike so a substantial build was essential. Currently in a car but the lunch bag gets stuffed in a rucksack. It has survived well. I heat up soup, take leftover dinner, no leaks but I have not had a watery liquid in for transport yet. The silicone lid is excellent preventing splashes in the microwave & eating out of a glass bowl is very pleasant. The holder works exactly as it is designed to do. I am careful washing up the glass bowl as it is very thin & feels delicate but so far so good. I bought the largest to accommodate a big salad, it holds a full tin of soup easily (the tin in the pic is for size). Absolutely love it.

They worth every single penny. These are great quality lunch boxes. Made of glass and with a totally non spill silicone lid. Also forget about burning your fingers, the plastic container holds the hot away. A bought a complete set for myself and one L and a M for hubby. Tórralo y recommend them.

For my intended purposes this is a one star, if you can guarantee that it stays flat (if you mainly use a car) with nothing near its lid then I think it would be great. The lid is not secure at all wherever on the thread (the part that the lid screws into) it is, you can either keep turning it or with very little pressure it can pop straight off - so I cannot trust the "leakproof" statement or that it would not just spill food into my bag. This is not an issue on the smaller one, it has a hard stop on the thread, so it seems very likely to be a design flaw.

Après avoir testé et été déçue par la "Jar to go" de Lekue, je me suis remise en quête de la lunch box idéale : - en verre - étanche - de capacité suffisante - légère et compacte - utilisable avec des petits couverts Cette lunch box regroupe donc tous les critères indispensables à mes yeux : - la capacité de 600 mL est idéale pour un plat principal, et la forme large permet de manger confortablement avec des couverts nomades - le récipient principal est en verre borosilicate, le même verre qu'on utilise en laboratoire, un matériau inerte qui ne dégage pas de chimie dans les aliments, passe au micro-ondes, et est le verre le plus léger car très fin. - le couvercle interne en silicone assure une étanchéité parfaite. - le support en polypropylène/bois recyclé protège le verre des chocs et les mains de la chaleur ; attention, le support est donné pour 2 min au micro-ondes. - le couvercle en inox permet de protéger le bol, maintenant le couvercle silicone bien en place pour éviter les fuites. De plus, je trouve le design très réussi, au point que je vais me prendre la version 450 mL en complément pour mes petits déjeuners/collations. Seul point négatif, j'ai lu que pas mal d'utilisateurs se plaignent après avoir cassé le verre : il faut savoir que Black+Blum vend les pièces détachées sur son site internet, dont les bols de remplacement en borosilicate. Man glaubt ja nicht, wie viele Lunchboxen als dicht angepriesen werden, es aber nicht sind. Die hier ist es. Ich habe eine Lunchbox gesucht, in der ich mein vorgekochtes Essen mit ins Büro nehmen kann, wo ich es in der Mikrowelle erwärmen und direkt aus dem Gefäß essen wollte. Am liebsten wollte ich keine Plastikschüssel haben und einen Deckel, der verhindert, dass die ganze Mikrowelle vollgespritzt wird. Diese Lunchbox hat all das. Der Deckel kann sogar eingeklappt werden, damit Dampf entweichen kann, ohne dass es spritzt. Für mich ist sie wirklich die optimale Lösung. Was manchmal ein bisschen hakelig ist, ist das Festdrehen des Metalldeckels. Man muss aufpassen, dass der nicht duchdreht. Um es noch einmal deutlich zu sagen: Man kann mit der Box sogar Suppen transportieren, ohne dass die auslaufen.

Seriously best container ever!! I use this container every day to heat up my soup at work. I love that the inside is glass and when I remove my container from the microwave, I am able to grab it without burning myself as the outside does not get hot to touch. I have never had a problem with it leaking. Great for freezing as well!!

e' la seconda ciottola che acquisto di black & blum, per cui per me e' una garanzia attenzione non e' un thermos ma se si mette del cibo caldo come ad esempio una zuppa, dopo qualche ora la si trova ancora un po' tiepida, ma non confrontatelo con un thermos va benissimo invece per yogurt, macedonia, insalata di riso e pasta fredda ma anche per pasta calda e vi do un suggerimento: io personalmente lo inserisco con una busta termica di quelle che si trovano su Amazon e in questo modo riesco a mantenere davvero tiepide anche le zuppe, non bollenti ma sicuramente più che calde

Design is really nice. Sealing is great. But the glass inside is too thin and doesnt feel sturdy, it will probably crack in a week or so as I am quite a clumsy one. Other than that the metal lip could have designed better as it keeps slipping off. 750ml version is just what you need for a lunchbox. Anything smaller would not be enough. If it were a little bit cheaper I would have definitely rated it 4 stars but I dont think that it worths 4 stars now with this price tag.
