Why did you pick this product vs others?: I picked this item because the brand name was known, because I wanted an all stainless body, and because it had a variety of needles and brushes. Having those larger needles should give me more choice in what to inject. I just used it for the first time. Costco sells boneless0 lamb roasts. They are in a butcher's sock. I have tried putting them back in the sock (fail) and tying them does not give as good as result as the sock. I finally decided to inject the marinade. I found a recipe online for a smear on that had fresh rosemary, garlic, and browned onions, cooked in enough evoo to make a paste. We lightly browned the onions, added the other ingredients and used a stick blender to make a paste. We loaded this into the syringe by sucking it up the needle, and we injected 2.5 syringes full of the paste into the lamb. Cooking it in sous vide we plan on holding it at about 132 for 2.5 hours. Then we will finish it in a 425 oven (or maybe a toaster oven) for 15 minutes. Notice that there is no salt, and if I had added pepper, it would have been in a small amount. I can't eat salt, wife prefers to eat less picante foods. This syringe just worked. I could have made the stuff thicker or lumpier. The ring fit my hand and made the syringe easy to use. I have used similar gadgets before. This one worked better than cheap ones that I have used before. Sooo much better. We are looking forward to making a home-made butter basted turkey with injected basting...with real butter, not the "ball" that the big producers hit you with...I wish I had made a quick video of how relatively easy it is to put the needle where you want and either make a pocket or line of the marinade. Please note that the needles are very sharp. Keep away from children.

Holy smokes this Victorian medical torture-looking device helped make the BEST DAMN THANKSGIVING TURKEY I’ve ever made in my entire life, I swear to god! This massive beast is made of solid stainless steel, and seems very durable. It comes with multiple injection needles of various lengths and gauges for use with different types of marinades and cuts of meat. For my turkey, I used the shortest and most narrow needle to precisely inject marinade throughout all parts of the turkey. The syringe has excellent suction, perfect length, nor did it bend, or leak at all! This one was a little more expensive than other options, but I am super impressed with its overall quality and durability so I think it was absolutely worth it. I plan to use this frequently with roasts, chicken, grilling, and heck, maybe I’ll even inject some liquor into a melon! This tool rules!

In the process of using this product, i realized that all the times i bought those creole seasoning marinades with the complementary injector to it, that i should've used a bit of oil on the rubber plunger bit, which this product also recommends on the silicone o-ring.......whoops? :/ Now to the product itself. looks solid, all the needles look solid, cleaned everything, even all the silicone o-rings to the needles and the main plunger before putting everything back together again. used it just now to inject some liquid marinade into some drumsticks, and it was easier than the cheaper injectors. The size of the needles looked impressive and reasonable for their functionality, the price could've been a bit less, but quality has its image to uphold. didn't encounter any leakage with anything just yet, had a minor accident trying to use the needle and sprayed some marinade where i shouldn't have, but overall it worked just as good if not more so than the cheaper injectors. now there is one gripe i got when it comes to the product. Not for the injector itself, but the box it came in. i half-expected a slightly thick cardboard box, not the paper-thin box it came in. i was worried the entire thing would've fell apart the moment i took it out of the pouch it came in. In the future, maybe don't use construction-paper thin packaging for this product, and maybe use something thicker from now on. Oh, and one other thing. Though the first two needles (the 12-hole and the small hole ones) had their needle caps, i did an oopsie and lost the cap on the small-hole needle.

Just used this on a turkey that I'm smoking for Thanksgiving. It worked great. The first pull on the handle was a little stiff, but after that it was smooth, making injection easy. I like that it comes with a couple different injection needle options in the box. I love that it comes with extra seals, tip caps, and cleaning tools. Everything you need in one box, and very well built. The injector cylinder and needles look very durable. 100% recommend.

Very nice quality and design. Easy to clean and comes with a nice travel case to store all you attachments. Good amount of storage capacity in syringe.

Product showed up defective. Plan was to use it to inject my Xmas Turkey. The barrel had no threads to attach the injection needles. Product does not work for what it was intended. Someone did not do their job.
