I do not do pilates or yoga BUT if you are trying to start exercising and not comfortable going to the gym then the bar is good for you. There different things that you could do with the bar such as sitting down and working on your triceps, shoulders, abs and other things. They also show how to stretch before you workout and afterwards. Again this is my first review on any product and I am always shopping on Amazon. Bianca

I really love this exercise bar. I am 7.5 months pregnant and I use it for arm exercises as well as leg raises on the floor and it provides a good amount of resistance. My husband also likes it and he is a whole lot stronger than I am. I wish these came with different resistance bands, but for the price, you really cannot beat it. I am happy with my purchase.

The only reason I gave 4 stars, is because their is not enough tension. I’m 5 1 and it’s just not enough. Other than that, great material and can do many different workouts!

Used for only 2 weeks and it teared apart. Initially I loved it, the elasticity/ the color/ I was fine with it all. Then it snapped and I was only doing light pulls with them. Not worth the money... getting something more durable next time.

I am disappointed that there is no adjustment or replacement for resistance. to get any tension going, you have to be about four to five feet away from the base.might be perfect if you are 8 feet tall and have three feet long hands.

Bar has very tension/resistance. Good to practice form but with no resistance, you're not reallyfeeling a burn. Bar was comfortable to hold, but also no way to shorten the band for shorter people. Ended up returning

I’m not very strong so the tension is perfect for me. It’s very easy to store and very fun to use. It doesn’t feel like it will break, but realistically for what it’s priced, I will tie that sucker back together if it does.

Did not like the fact the straps were not adjustable. No way to make them tighter for a person who is short. May very well return product due to this.

Love the idea of this. But it’s literally impossible to squeeze and pull apart. Even my husband tried and he’s very awkward.

The band is way too long and loose. It also is not very strong, so even of it did fit to use, it would be useless.
