Life of the Party Frog A126 Chocolate Candy Mold with Instructions

As our oldest child finished reading the last Harry Potter series, we had a movie marathon watching Deathly Hallows 1 & 2. Of course, I had to go all out. Chocolate frogs were a must and to order them from a brand and reputable name was expensive and did not taste all that great. I decided to look for a way to make my own. I ended up with two choices: silicone molds or this one. After reading reviews, I decided to go with this one and it did not steer me wrong. It was very simple! I melt a whole bag of chocolate candy melts in the microwave and then just poured portions in each frog mold and tapped the tray to level it out and added more if needed. Within a hour, it was solidified and ready to eat. I kind of held my breath trying to get it out of the mold fearing the worst but all of it came right out as soon as I turned it over slightly. Wow! To clean it was effortless. Just some hot and soapy water, done. No scrubbing needed. I had two happy kids and a wonderful movie marathon. Get this if you have a Harry Potter fan!

Used them to make some Harry Potter themed gifts for a dear friend. I used chocolate melts as the outter layer and other things for the inside and then covered it with the melts again as the bottom. Less than 10-15 mins in the fridge, I was able to flip them and release it off from the mold. It game off super clean and easy. The material is sturdy enough where me moving the plastic around doesn’t feel like it would change shape. Very easy to use and the frogs came out in the perfect size for my handmade chocolate frog box.

We were having a Harry Potter movie night as we had a guest that had never seen it so I wanted to make some of the treats from the movie. These worked awesome I actually went and bought the dipping chocolate sold in the little containers in the baking aisle, put it in the microwave for 30 seconds melted. It stirred it as soon as it was completely melted poured into the molds throw them in the freezer for about 20 minutes. It worked perfectly. The frogs came out no problem, and they were perfect !!!

I loved this mold; it’s practical and seems great for the price. The plastic is a bit thick. I used it to make chocolate frogs for a party, and it was easy to use.

The mold makes a good size frog for a Harry Pitter chocolate frog project - about 3 inches long, a generous size single treat. Molding the chocolate was super easy if you use melting wafers correctly. Melt and fill, chill 15 mins. They released with no trouble at all. Detail and definition was good, you can enhance it nicely with a brush-on luster powder. Virtually no cleanup as there was nothing left behind after de-molding, not even a trace of residual cocoa butter from the chocolate. Fulfilled brief nicely, great item for a Harry Potter party.

I honestly loved this mold, it made making chocolate frogs a total breeze. The frogs came right out of the mold without any problems, they were very detailed and looked like a real frog, along with the size. I would highly recommend this mold if you are looking to do a Harry Potter themed party.

I bought these for a Harry Potter birthday party. I made chocolate frogs and filled them with green colored caramel LOLOL!! Plastic chocolate molds are not always easy to use but I grew up using plastic molds so it's new to me. We always hold the molds up to the light to look for thin spots, freeze the chocolate. For best use, don't fill all the way to the top so your chocolate can seal otherwise your liquid filling will leak out. The molds are sturdy and the end product looked great! They're a little big for a single filling. I did add pecans to some of my frogs. These were a nice addition to our party.

I used this product to make chocolate frogs for a Harry Potter party. I used one bag of chocolate wafers, one small dash of black oil-based coloring and two small dashes of oil-based chocolate flavoring. Filled the molds, kept in the freezer for an hour and in the refrigerator overnight. In the morning I used a sharp knife to slice off any flash and they turned out perfect! Glossy, sweet and chocolaty. They popped right out of the molds. So happy!

Purchased for a Harry Potter party. Used candy chips from Michael's and they turned out great. Kids were happy.

I made chocolate frogs with my granddaughters, which went down very well, as they’re big Harry Potter fans. The only slight problem was that they were hard to get out of the mould. We had to dip the mould in hot water to release the frogs.
