SWEDISH FISH Individually Wrapped Soft & Chewy Candy, Bulk Candy, 240 Count Box

Very good tasting. With individual wrapping, you can share with a classroom of students, just as I do.

I'd like to start out by saying, I do NOT like Swedish Fish. I think they're flavorless, hard, sticky, (on your teeth), and just gross. But I'd eat one, just b/c they're there. So we had to buy these for an elementary school project. My son will be handing them out at a display table for this project, to every student at the school. So when I started reading reviews that most of the bags were open and the candy was not fresh, the were expired, and hard as a rock, I got worried. But, I went ahead and took a chance. For the record, I ordered 2 boxes in mid April 2019. The expiration date was March of 2020. Good to go. I tried one. My son tried one. He said, "Man. These are hard." But when I ate mine, yes, it was hard, but if people really know what Swedish fish are....they're hard. Someone complained they stuck to their teeth. Well, that's what Swedish Fish do. That's the type of candy they are. I dumped both boxes out on my kitchen table, and went thru every single piece, just like it was Halloween! Only bc I know when my son hands these out, kids won't be checking the wrapping before eating them. Every single piece was wrapped securely. So perhaps those other people just got a bad box?? I'm perfectly happy with my purchase. Even though I personally don't like them, they will fit the bill perfectly, for our project!

I am a high school softball coach in NJ . I wanted to try to find reward for our players when they got on base during our games. I noticed that some colleges where giving out candy to their players when they hit a homerun. So I took it one step further and any time they got a hit , they got a swedish fish. It has worked wonderfully and I have been using this as a motivational tool for the past 5 years. I also use them when I coach my club softball team. Heist4Life.............

Well, I have a huge problem here. Three people managed to devour this entire box in under a month!! I wasn't sure I would like the individually wrapped fishies, but I have to say, I like them BETTER now than the boxes or bags. Everyone in our house loves Swedish Fish, and we usually buy the smaller bags. I saw this and thought I'd give it a try. YUMMMMMM!! Our fish were very fresh and tasty. The fish are a little larger than the ones in the bags or boxes, but NOT complaining at all. There is something about mass quantities of something that just fills a need - perhaps I am related to the Coneheads. But a large box of individually wrapped fishies were great! We all ate too many of them this time around, but the second box should be a little better controlled consumption. The novelty will have worn off, and we'll be able to snack normally. I hope. If not, eh - bring it on! This is also such a great way to put fishies in treat bags, lunches, a note mailed to someone, etc etc. They stay clean and fresh. We will DEFINITELY be back for another round of fishing with the individual fish in the happy yellow and blue box.

Perfect size to hand out to kids

The Swedish Fish came individually wrapped in the box shown in the photo on Amazon. I’m very surprised they were on the dry side. I had just purchased another group of candy that was mixed & had Swedish Fish. They were soft, chewy, fresh. The flavor is ok, but I didn’t enjoy them like the fresher mix. I would recommend this candy but only if you don’t mind old dry candy.

Take me back to my childhood. These swedish fish taste great! Individually wrapped to prevent candy from going bad.
