My son (10 years old) was extremely excited about the hook. He did play with it and it makes a great toy. That's the end of it ability. The rubber band broke after 10 minutes and he used a broken balloon as a replacement. He responded "well that's stronger than the rubber band." If you want a hook to do anything besides be a toy, I wouldn't purchase this one. With that being said, this has a low price tag and could be a great fit and exactly what you're looking for. The rope is fairly long and pretty good quality but I wouldn't use it for anything important

It's smaller than my hand... the only good thing about this purchase was the rope. The rope is nice I guess. I didn't listen to the other reviews because I wanted to give this thing the benefit of my doubt. But it actually sucks. Please don't waste your money on this. The other peice of metal ALREADY broke off...

It’s very small smaller then your palm probably gonna return because it is so little I don’t even know what it be used for I love the climbing photos to throw you off it’s maybe 2” wide by like 3.5 “ long

This is a good hook for camping use. Easy to use and compact. Very good quality.

To small to be of any use. Also rubber band supplied for tensioner broke making it useless.
