While I do not care for the scent of this product The benefits of using this product far surpass's it. I used this product by adding it to my cleanser and my body moisturizer undoubtedly much more moisturizing than before so much so that I do not use face cream anymore. I have noticed on my body it helps with broken capillaries on my legs, stretch marks and with any marks and brightens up my skin I really love it. I did try using this product by itself but it is to orange and stains everything it was not working out that way not to mention caused me to break out. I guess adding it to my cleanser was just the right balance. This next benefit was quite surprising to me as I was not taking this product internally. I have noticed an improvement in vaginal dryness due to menopause. So far I cannot think of any downside with using this product I will definitely continue to take it.

I've used this oil for several years now as an ingredient in moisturizing oils that I make at home. I usually blend this with another oil, as sea buckthorn oil's bright orange-red color will temporarily stain skin(this doesn't harm the skin) and will stain fabrics. This also makes a great leather softener as well- but it will darken/stain lighter colored leathers, so be careful if you use it for this purpose. As far as I can tell, this product is genuine- its appearance and smell are right. I have not found a better moisturizing oil anywhere. I would ask the seller or shipper to protect the cap/neck portion of the bottle better, as this was cracked during shipping- and the oil had to be placed in another bottle.

I’m very happy with this product. I’m mixing it with Argan oil and zinc oxide and it’s helping with my Perioral Dermatitis. It is ORANGE people, that’s the oil’s natural color. It actually helps tone the white of the zinc so I’m using it as part of my natural sunscreen. And don’t worry, your face/hands etc. won’t stay orange. As for scent, I’m not sure why others think it smells unpleasant. It smells natural to me and the odor dissipates quickly so I don’t know what the fuss is about. The ONLY reason I gave it 4 stars is because I find the dispenser difficult. It’s a drip type and on mine I’ve had to shake the bottle to get the drops out, and that inadvertently causes me to lose some of the oil. Otherwise I’m very happy with the product and will purchase more.

I can say that this product work. It is not oily after 5 minutes sitting on my skin it gets absorbed. The oil has an orange color but it fades away it won't leave your skin orange. It smells ok but I mix it with my favorite lotion. I have notice dark spots fading. I can say that using this oil is the best without the harmful chemicals. :0)

Buckthorn SEED oil (which this claims to be) should be a more yellow than orange. The fruit oil is a dark orange-red. They are selling this as seed oil but it's clearly either the fruit (or a mix as fruit is cheaper than seed) or is dyed/diluted/etc for some reason. Simply g00gIe "what color should sea buckthorn SEED oil be" and you'll see there's almost certainly no way this is. It also has a vinegar-like smell and not a nutty one. Sent back and will have to find another brand.

Take this as supplement. A few drops each day. Doesn't taste great but it is really good for your heart health! This was way cheaper than capsules to get the pure oil.

I never heard of Sea Buckthorn oil before purchasing this product. I mix it with my facial moisturizer and follow with a foundation to tone down the amber color. At my age, it is difficult to know if a product is actually working but I do like the appearance of a healthy glow I get from the Sea Buckthorn oil. I have not detected any staining of clothing and the product washes away easily with soap and water.

It leaves my skin really soft.

High quality oil. I love it. I use it for my face, my hair, my nails. As described!

Parfait

I use this product on my face occasionally along with other oils. I find that despite its colour, it helps to improve my skin and for that reason I will continue to use it. I am dark skinned toned so it blends in and you cannot see the orange colour too much, but if you are of lighter skin complexion I can only guess you would look very orange /tanned. I also do not recommend going to bed with white or lighted coloured bed sheets or pillows if you have this product on, as you may wake up with slightly orange stained pillows/sheets. Personally I use it in the morning and/or day only and then wash off after a few hours or so. The product lasts and is packaged well. I feel I got value for what I paid and the product was just the right size for me. The oil is just the right thickness, not too watery and not too thick but the right consistency so you are able to easily apply it to the skin. There is also clear information on the bottle. This definitely is a brilliant addition to beauty oils for the skin and I recommend it.

I got much better results than what they described. I used it for my hair, and it was amazing. Hair loss stopped. I don't like the flavor, but the color is nice, and I also apply it to my face. It looks radiant.

Good quality product but didn’t do anything special for my skin. I don’t find it absorbs nicely into the skin and even if I try to use it as a mask my skin just feels a little goopy after I remove the oil. Would have used it on my body but since this product has such a deep orange tone it will adhere to anything it touches. Clothes sheets etc. Smells nice though, deep fruity/nutty tones.
